### clasify Business
Canonical URL: https://clasify.com/en/business
clasify Business is a cloud-based SaaS dashboard for dealers and businesses with higher classified-ad volume. It helps manage listings, inventory, messages, automations, statistics, add-ons and platform integrations. It can also import open job listings from the coveto applicant tracking system via a job feed.
Login URL (existing customers): https://business.clasify.com/
Publishing platform status on the Business page:
- Live: Kleinanzeigen, Flinkanzeigen.
- Im Rollout: eBay, Willhaben.
- Roadmap: WooCommerce, Shopware.
Live inventory and data sources on the Business page:
- Shopify: manual import from Plus, automatic sync from Pro.
- Feed-Import: JSON, XML, CSV and publicly shared Google Sheets; import from Plus, automatic sync from Pro. Excel files are not read directly and must be exported to CSV first.
- coveto Job-Feed: imports open job listings from coveto into clasify Business; Plus supports manual synchronization and Pro supports automatic synchronization with Kleinanzeigen.
Plan prices (net, plus VAT, as shown in the pricing section https://clasify.com/en/business#pricing):
- Starter: €39.90 per month with monthly billing (cancellable monthly), or €382.80 per year with yearly billing (equals €31.90 per month, cancellable yearly).
- Plus: €59.90 per month with monthly billing (cancellable monthly), or €574.80 per year with yearly billing (equals €47.90 per month, cancellable yearly).
- Pro: €119.90 per month with monthly billing (cancellable monthly), or €1,150.80 per year with yearly billing (equals €95.90 per month, cancellable yearly).
- Premium: €199.90 per month with monthly billing (cancellable monthly), or €1,918.80 per year with yearly billing (equals €159.90 per month, cancellable yearly).
- Payment via PayPal, credit card or SEPA.
- All plans require a Kleinanzeigen Pro or real-estate (Immobilien) package on kleinanzeigen.de.
How plan limits work:
- Plans differ by simultaneously active ads, inventory articles, autoresponder replies per month, autoresponder rules, team members and scheduled jobs. The exact values per plan are listed on the Business pricing section and in the app under "Abonnement".
- The "Nutzung" card under "Abonnement" shows how many autoresponder replies were used in the current period. Monthly limits stay monthly with yearly billing.
- The Kleinanzeigen package has its own separate listing quota, shown in the app overview as "Freie Inserierungen".
Further clasify Business capabilities documented in the help center:
- Article descriptions are written in an editor supporting headings, bold, bulleted and numbered lists. Kleinanzeigen supports exactly these four formats; everything else is transferred as plain text. Whether formatting is displayed also depends on the customer's Kleinanzeigen package.
- Scheduled publications can repeat on an interval (every N days, weeks or months) until an end date. Each repetition deletes and recreates the listing, which is how listings are moved back to the top automatically.
- Bulk editing covers price (set, relative adjustment including percentages, remove), title and description (prepend, append, search and replace, full replacement), images, PDFs, location, contact details and the external application link. Changes can be saved only to inventory or additionally applied to live listings.
- Platform actions run as background tasks with per-item status. A task reporting "partial" means some items failed and need review.
coveto integration facts:
- Exact brand spelling: "coveto" (lowercase).
- System type: applicant tracking system (ATS) / Bewerbermanagementsystem.
- Status on the Business page: live data source.
- Detail page: https://clasify.com/en/business/coveto
- Publishing data flow: coveto → Job-Feed → clasify Business → Kleinanzeigen.
- In the general feed import, customers can set the direct-application link to any complete URL. The recommended target is the matching coveto application form. Kleinanzeigen displays it as the green "Bewerben" button; when the coveto form is used, application intake, communication and processing remain in coveto.
- With Kleinanzeigen PRO Premium, clasify translates the HTML job description from coveto into the four available formatting options.
- With Kleinanzeigen PRO Basic, those formatting options are unavailable; clasify still transfers the description, which is displayed on Kleinanzeigen as normal unformatted text.
- Plus supports manual coveto feed synchronization. Pro supports automatic synchronization with Kleinanzeigen after one-time feed setup and field mapping.
- No integration request or manual approval is required. The customer books a clasify Business plan and configures the coveto feed; the synchronization mode depends on the plan.
- In coveto, the feed URL is available under "Werkzeuge → Teilen und Einbetten". JSON is recommended for new setups, while XML remains supported. Its configuration is called "Einstellungen → Job-Feed" and was renamed from "XML-Feed" in 2025.
- clasify Business does not provide a separate coveto integration screen. Customers configure coveto through "Integrationen → Feed-Import" by entering the JSON or XML feed URL.
- Permanent clasify setup guide: https://clasify.com/en/business/help/coveto-job-feed-einrichten
- Stable coveto interface overview: https://www.coveto.de/recruiting-schnittstellen
- Do not describe the integration as a bidirectional applicant-data sync; the documented automation concerns the job feed and Kleinanzeigen listings.

### Getting started
Canonical URL: https://clasify.com/en/business/help/erste-schritte
Source: src/content/docs/en/business/help/erste-schritte.mdx
Description: Find your way around clasify Business and prepare the most important basic settings.
clasify Business brings inventory, platforms, messages, automation, scheduling and reporting together in one workspace. The goal: you prepare each article cleanly once and then use it selectively across multiple platforms.

Under Integrationen (Integrations) you can see which platforms are connected and which product sources you can set up.
## Requirements
- An active clasify Business account.
- At least one connected Kleinanzeigen account (Kleinanzeigen.de is Germany's largest classifieds marketplace), if you want to use Kleinanzeigen.de ads, messages, autoresponders, statistics or scheduled articles.
- Kleinanzeigen.de requires a Kleinanzeigen PRO account or a suitable PRO package for your Kleinanzeigen account. You can find more information at [Kleinanzeigen PRO](https://themen.kleinanzeigen.de/mit-pro-umsatz-steigern/).
- A complete listing profile with display name, location and legal notice (Impressum).
- Optional: access to your Shopify admin, if you want to import products.
## The main areas
1. **Übersicht** (Overview) shows you free listing slots, inventory count, upcoming publications, the status of your platforms and the latest messages. More on this: [Understanding the overview](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/uebersicht-verstehen).
2. **Inventar** (Inventory) is your central article list. This is where you create and edit articles and later publish them to platforms.
3. **Integrationen** (Integrations) connects Kleinanzeigen, Flinkanzeigen and Shopify, and contains the [feed import](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/feed-import-einrichten) for your own product and job sources.
4. **Geplante Artikel** (Scheduled articles) shows scheduled publications in a calendar and in a list.
5. **Nachrichten** (Messages) collects customer enquiries from your connected Kleinanzeigen.de account.
6. **Textvorlagen** (Text templates) stores recurring texts for messages and article descriptions.
7. **Autoresponder** answers recurring enquiries automatically.
8. **Statistiken** (Statistics) helps you interpret views, messages, favorites and trends for your Kleinanzeigen.de ads.
9. **Einstellungen** (Settings) contains your profile, shipping, AI defaults, platform limits and subscription.
**tip: Recommended order**
Start with your account, settings and inventory. Publications, messages and automation work more reliably when your location, legal notice, shipping and article data are set up properly beforehand.
**info: Keep platform data in mind**
Messages and statistics are currently specific to Kleinanzeigen.de. You can use other platforms such as Flinkanzeigen for ads, but their messages and metrics are not currently shown in these two areas.
## Quick start
1. Open **Integrationen** (Integrations) and connect your Kleinanzeigen account.
2. Open **Einstellungen** (Settings) and check your display name, location, legal notice and shipping.
3. Open **Inventar** (Inventory) and create an article or import products from Shopify.
4. Check the title, description, price, images and location.
5. Publish the article using the platform action.
6. Check the status in **Inventar** or under **Integrationen > Kleinanzeigen**.
## If something is not available
Some areas need a connected Kleinanzeigen account or a suitable plan. If a menu item is greyed out or shows a lock, check these first:
- Is a Kleinanzeigen account connected and selected?
- Is your listing profile complete?
- Does your current plan include the feature?
You can find more under [Subscription, limits and features](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/abo-limits-und-funktionen).

### Understanding the overview
Canonical URL: https://clasify.com/en/business/help/uebersicht-verstehen
Source: src/content/docs/en/business/help/uebersicht-verstehen.mdx
Description: What the clasify Business start page shows and how to read the key figures on it.
The **Übersicht** (Overview) is the start page of clasify Business. It summarizes how much capacity you have left, what is coming up and whether all your connections are working. For daily work, it is the quickest way in.
## The three key figures at the top
### Freie Inserierungen
**Freie Inserierungen** (Free listings) shows how many more ads you can publish on your connected Kleinanzeigen account. The value comes from the quota of your **Kleinanzeigen package**, not from your clasify plan. Below it you can see the total quota and the name of your Kleinanzeigen package.
**info: Two different limits**
There are two independent limits: the ad quota of your Kleinanzeigen package, which you see here, and the limits of your clasify plan for inventory articles, active ads and scheduled jobs. If a publication fails, check both. You can find the clasify limits under [Subscription, limits and features](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/abo-limits-und-funktionen).
Without a connected Kleinanzeigen account, a dash is shown here.
### Artikel im Inventar
**Artikel im Inventar** (Articles in inventory) is the total number of your inventory articles, broken down into active, paused and drafts. Drafts are articles that have not yet been published on any platform.
### Geplante Inserierungen
**Geplante Inserierungen** (Scheduled listings) is the number of jobs still waiting for their scheduled time. More on this under [Scheduled articles](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/geplante-artikel).
## Platforms
**Plattformen** (Platforms) shows for each integration whether it is connected. This is where you can quickly spot a dropped connection before publications or syncs fail. If something is missing, [Connect your Kleinanzeigen account](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/kleinanzeigen-konto-verbinden), [Connect Shopify](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/shopify-verbinden) and [Common problems](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/haeufige-probleme) can help.
If your listing profile is incomplete, clasify points this out here. Then add your display name, location and legal notice (Impressum) under [Settings](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/einstellungen), otherwise ads may be created incorrectly or not at all.
## Messages
**Nachrichten** (Messages) is a preview of the latest enquiries from your connected Kleinanzeigen account, with the number of unread messages. Use **Alle** (All) to go to the full [messages area](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/nachrichten-beantworten).
## Next scheduled listings
**Nächste geplante Inserierungen** (Next scheduled listings): this card only appears when jobs are pending. It shows the next appointments with article titles, so that before a larger rollout you can quickly double-check that the right articles are scheduled.
## Support and feedback
At the very bottom you will find the support address and the **Feedback** button. Use the feedback form to report a bug, a feature request or a question directly from the app. Describe as specifically as possible which article or action was affected, so we can help you faster.
## A sensible start to the day
1. Check **Freie Inserierungen** (Free listings): is the quota enough for the ads planned for today?
2. Check **Plattformen** (Platforms): is everything connected?
3. Check **Nachrichten** (Messages): are there enquiries the autoresponder does not cover?
4. Check **Nächste geplante Inserierungen** (Next scheduled listings): is the order right?

Source: src/content/docs/en/business/help/umstieg-von-kleinanzeigen-enhanced.mdx
Description: What changes for editing, bulk editing and sync in clasify Business.
If you have worked with Kleinanzeigen-Enhanced so far, the most important difference is this: in clasify Business you no longer maintain changes directly on individual Kleinanzeigen ads. The central place is the **Inventar** (Inventory) or a connected product source such as **Shopify**.

The inventory is the central place for article data, changes and platform actions.
## The key difference
In Kleinanzeigen-Enhanced, many changes were made directly on existing Kleinanzeigen ads. In clasify Business, things are set up differently:
- The **inventory article** holds the article data you maintain.
- The **ad** on Kleinanzeigen or Flinkanzeigen is created from this article.
- You make changes to the article or the connected source first.
- clasify then transfers the change to the platform, as soon as the article is saved with live update or an active sync is set up for it.
**info: In short**
You no longer edit each platform ad as its own data source. You maintain the article centrally and then use it for one or more platforms.
## Where you maintain changes
### Without Shopify
If you have not connected a Shopify store, you maintain changes directly in the inventory article.
Open Inventar (Inventory).
Open the article you want.
Change the title, description, price, images, location or other details.
Save the article.
If the article is already live, save it in a way that lets clasify update the active ad.
### With Shopify
If Shopify is connected and auto-sync is active, Shopify is in many cases the leading product source. In that case, you maintain product data in Shopify first. clasify then syncs it according to your sync settings.
This applies especially to data such as:
- Product title
- Price
- Description
- Images
- Stock or availability, if these fields are synced
**warning: Keep Shopify sync in mind**
If a field is synced from Shopify, you should not keep overwriting it manually in the inventory. The next sync may replace your change with the Shopify value again.
## Changing attributes and properties
If you want to change a property, for example material, color, condition, dimensions or what is included, you maintain it in the article text.
Typical places are:
- **Titel** (Title), if the property is short and relevant to the sale.
- **Beschreibung** (Description), if the property needs explaining or includes several details.
Examples:
- `Dining table wood` becomes `Dining table solid oak`.
- In the description, you add `Dimensions: 180 x 90 cm`.
- `good condition` becomes `very good condition, only slight signs of use`.
clasify then uses this information for the ad. You no longer need to enter the same change separately in each platform view.
## Bulk editing in clasify Business
In clasify Business, bulk editing works through the inventory. You select several articles and edit them together or run a shared platform action.
Typical actions are:
- edit several articles,
- publish several articles,
- pause or activate several ads,
- remove several ads,
- schedule several articles,
- sync several articles.
The difference from Kleinanzeigen-Enhanced: you do not work directly on a list of individual Kleinanzeigen ads, but on your central articles and their platform status.
## Updating live ads
If an article is already published, it is not always enough to save the inventory article only locally. Save it with live update if the change should also become visible on Kleinanzeigen or Flinkanzeigen. clasify then transfers the changed data to the active ad.
More on this: [Edit articles and update them live](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/artikel-bearbeiten-und-live-uebernehmen).
## Recommended way of working
First maintain new or existing articles properly in the inventory.
Use Shopify as the source if your range is maintained there.
Write important properties in the title or description.
Publish or update ads from the inventory.
Only use bulk actions after you have filtered and checked the selection.
## Typical examples
| You want to ... | Then do this in clasify Business |
| --- | --- |
| Change the price of an article | Change the price in the inventory article and update the live ad. With Shopify sync, change the price in Shopify. |
| Add a property | Adjust the title or description in the article. |
| Pause many ads | Select the articles in the inventory and use a bulk action. |
| Keep Shopify products up to date | Use Shopify sync or auto-sync. |
| Take over existing Kleinanzeigen ads | Save the ad to the inventory from the platform view. |

### Manage your inventory
Canonical URL: https://clasify.com/en/business/help/inventar-pflegen
Source: src/content/docs/en/business/help/inventar-pflegen.mdx
Description: The inventory is the platform-independent article base of clasify Business.
The **Inventar** (Inventory) is the core of clasify Business. This is where all your articles live before they are published, scheduled, synced or edited again later. An inventory article is first and foremost a clasify article of its own, not tied directly to the form of one particular platform.

In the inventory, you maintain article data once, centrally, and then use it for several workflows.
## Why the inventory matters
Many platforms work with their own categories, required fields and attributes. In the inventory, you describe your article in a neutral and easy-to-understand way instead. Only when you publish does clasify prepare this data for the platform in question.
This helps you in three situations:
- You do not have to re-enter title, description, price, location and images for every platform.
- You can quickly see which articles are live, paused or not yet published.
- You can later edit, schedule or republish articles, or bring them to further platforms.
**info: In short**
The inventory describes your article. The platform ad is only created when you publish the article on Kleinanzeigen, Flinkanzeigen or another platform.
## What a good inventory article contains
- A specific title.
- A clear description covering condition, dimensions, material, brand, what is included and any special features.
- A suitable price and price type.
- Images that show the condition and details.
- Location and shipping details.
- Optionally an internal reference or tags.
The better these details are, the easier it is for clasify to create suitable ads from them.
## How articles get into the inventory
1. **Create manually:** Suited to individual articles or articles with many special features. More on this: [Create an article manually](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/artikel-manuell-anlegen).
2. **Create with AI:** Suited to when you have images and want to prepare the title and description faster. More on this: [Create articles with AI](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/artikel-per-ki-erstellen).
3. **Import from Shopify:** Suited to when Shopify is your product source. More on this: [Import and sync Shopify products](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/shopify-produkte-importieren-und-synchronisieren).
4. **Import from a feed:** Through a CSV, JSON or XML source or a Google Sheet. More on this: [Set up feed import](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/feed-import-einrichten).
5. **Take over from existing ads:** In the ads view, you can save existing Kleinanzeigen or Flinkanzeigen ads to the inventory.
## Filter by status
Above the list you will find tabs with the respective counts:
- **Alle** (All)
- **Aktiv** (Active): at least one live ad.
- **Pausiert** (Paused)
- **Geplant** (Scheduled): a publication is scheduled for the article.
- **Nicht live** (Not live): the article is not published on any platform.
These tabs are the quickest way to narrow down the right selection before a bulk action.
## The most important columns
- **Bild** (Image) shows the main image.
- **Titel** (Title), **Beschreibung** (Description), **Kategorie** (Category), **Referenz** (Reference), **Preis** (Price) and **Ort** (Location) help you find things again quickly. You can also search and filter the **Beschreibung** column, for example to find all articles with an outdated text block.
- **Inseriert am** (Listed on), **Besucher** (Visitors), **Gemerkt** (Saved) and **Nachrichten** (Messages) show performance data when the article is live on Kleinanzeigen.
- **Hochschieben** (Bump up) shows when a Kleinanzeigen ad can be pushed back to the top again.
- **Käufe** (Purchases) shows active visibility options.
- **Plattformen** (Platforms) shows where the article is published and what status it has there.
## Typical actions in the inventory
- **Inserieren** (Publish): publish an article on a connected platform.
- **Neu inserieren** (Republish): remove the existing ad and publish it again.
- **Entfernen** (Remove): remove the ad from the platform but keep the article in the inventory.
- **Pausieren/Aktivieren** (Pause/Activate): temporarily stop live ads or activate them again.
- **Planen** (Schedule): schedule a publication for later.
- **Bearbeiten** (Edit): change article data.
- **Duplizieren** (Duplicate): create a similar article faster.
- **Löschen** (Delete): remove an article from the inventory. If the article is live, clasify asks whether to delete **nur der Artikel** (only the article) or **Artikel und Anzeigen** (article and ads). If you delete only the article, the ad stays on the platform but is no longer managed by clasify.
**warning: Distinguish inventory from live ad**
When you edit an article, only the inventory article changes at first. For ads that are already published, you need to specify that clasify should also update the changes on the platform. More on this: [Edit articles and update them live](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/artikel-bearbeiten-und-live-uebernehmen).
## Using bulk actions
You can select several articles and edit, schedule, sync, publish, pause, activate or delete them together. This is helpful for larger ranges. Always check beforehand that the selected articles really belong together.
How to change prices, texts, images and contact details for many articles at once is covered under [Bulk editing](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/massenbearbeitung). Bulk actions run in the background; you can follow their progress under [Tasks and progress](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/aufgaben-und-fortschritt).
## Avoiding common mistakes
- Do not publish articles before you have checked the title, description, location and images.
- Write important properties in the article text, not only in internal notes.
- Check imported Shopify texts, because shop texts are not always suitable as a Kleinanzeigen description.
- Only delete articles with active ads deliberately.
- Use filters and search when you work with many articles.

### Create an article manually
Canonical URL: https://clasify.com/en/business/help/artikel-manuell-anlegen
Source: src/content/docs/en/business/help/artikel-manuell-anlegen.mdx
Description: How to create an inventory article yourself and prepare it for ads.
A manual article is a good fit when you want to write the details yourself or already know exactly what the ad should look like.

In the inventory, you create new articles and manage existing ones.
## Create an article
Open Inventar (Inventory).
Click Neuer Artikel (New article).
Select Manuell erstellen (Create manually).
Fill in the most important details.
Click Artikel speichern (Save article).
After saving, the article is in your inventory. It is not automatically published on Kleinanzeigen or Flinkanzeigen yet.
## Key fields
### Allgemein (General)
Here you set:
- **Titel** (Title) as a required field.
- **Referenz** (Reference): an internal article number you can use to find the article again later.
- **Kategorie** (Category).
- **Angebotsart** (Offer type): offer or wanted.
- **Preis** (Price) and **Preistyp** (Price type): Festpreis (fixed price), VB (or nearest offer), Zu verschenken (free to a good home) or Auf Anfrage (price on request).
### Beschreibung (Description)
The description is the text prospective buyers will read. Write clearly what is being sold, what condition the article is in and whether there is anything special to be aware of.
You can structure the text with headings, bold text and lists, and use **Vorlage einfügen** (Insert template) to add a [text template](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/textvorlagen-erstellen-und-verwenden). More on this under [Format descriptions](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/beschreibungen-formatieren).
### Bilder und Details (Images and details)
Add meaningful images. Good images make the biggest difference to enquiries later. How many images per article are possible depends on your plan.
In the same tab you will also find:
- **Versand** (Shipping): pickup, shipping and optionally an individual shipping price.
- **Tags:** free keywords for internal sorting. Type a word and confirm with Enter.
### Dokumente (Documents)
If documents matter for the article, you can attach up to 10 files, for example data sheets or inspection records.
### Standort (Location)
The location is used for platform ads. Make sure the postcode and city are correct. If you leave the field empty, clasify uses the postcode from your listing profile.
### Kleinanzeigen
Here you enter the **externer Bewerbungslink** (external application link) for job ads. Applicants are then sent to your own site instead of writing through Kleinanzeigen messages. This only takes effect in job categories.
### Plattformen (Platforms)
Shows which platforms the article is published on and which actions are possible. For a new article, this area is still empty.
## Help in the edit window
Two areas next to the form support you:
- **Tipps & Attribute** (Tips & attributes): once you have chosen a category, clasify shows which attributes Kleinanzeigen expects for that category and which of them are required. Write these details in the title or description, and clasify can take them over correctly when publishing.
- **Live-Vorschau** (Live preview): shows what the ad will look like on the platform. Well suited for checking the image selection and title before publishing.
**tip: Complete it first, then publish**
It is fine for an article to start out unfinished in the inventory. Only publish it once the title, price, description, images and location are right.
## Afterwards
After saving, you can:
- publish the article right away,
- schedule it for later,
- duplicate it,
- edit it,
- sync it with Shopify or a platform,
- use it as a template for similar articles.
---
### Create articles with AI
Canonical URL: https://clasify.com/en/business/help/artikel-per-ki-erstellen
Source: src/content/docs/en/business/help/artikel-per-ki-erstellen.mdx
Description: How to use images and short hints to create an inventory article faster.
AI creation lets you have a new inventory article prepared from images and a few short hints. It saves time, but it does not replace a final check.

AI creation uses images and hints to prepare an article.
## Create an article with AI
Open Inventar (Inventory).
Click Neuer Artikel (New article).
Choose Per KI erstellen (Create with AI).
Upload up to 10 images.
Add short hints if important information is not visible in the images.
Check the location, description settings and other options.
Decide whether KI-Bildsortierung (AI image sorting) should be on.
Start the creation.
The generated article then opens in the editing window. Review it there before you save or publish it.
## Good hints for the AI
Short, specific details work best, for example:
- Brand, model or exact name
- Condition, age or known defects
- Size, material or technical data
- What is included
- Whether shipping is possible
- Whether you want a fixed price or a negotiable price
Vague hints often lead to vague descriptions. A few precise details are better than long, unstructured text.
## What you should always check
Before saving, pay particular attention to:
- Title
- Category
- Price and price type
- Description
- Condition and special features
- Image order
- Location
**warning: AI can make mistakes**
The AI does not recognize every detail reliably. Only publish an AI-created article once you have
checked the details.
## AI image sorting
When **KI-Bildsortierung** (AI image sorting) is on, clasify automatically picks the most telling image as the main image and puts the remaining images in a sensible order. This is worthwhile if you upload photos in the order they were taken.
Turn the sorting off if you set the order yourself on purpose, for example because an info or size image should sit in a fixed position.
## Using AI settings
In your settings (Einstellungen), you can store defaults for AI-generated texts. For example, you can define how descriptions should begin or end and which wording the AI should prefer.
The creation window shows the same three fields again, and you can set them differently for that one article.
This is worthwhile if you want to create many articles in a similar style.
## Limits of AI creation
The number of creations is limited: you can only start a few per minute. If you are creating a larger range of items, work in batches instead of starting everything at once.
If the creation does not start or a notice appears, check:
- whether you started several creations in a row shortly before,
- whether your plan includes AI creation,
- whether the uploaded images were fully processed.

### Edit articles and update them live
Canonical URL: https://clasify.com/en/business/help/artikel-bearbeiten-und-live-uebernehmen
Source: src/content/docs/en/business/help/artikel-bearbeiten-und-live-uebernehmen.mdx
Description: How to save changes in the inventory and have clasify update active ads.
An article in the inventory is your template. An active ad is the published version on a platform. The two are connected, but they are not always identical right away.
**info: Important for former Kleinanzeigen Enhanced users**
In clasify Business, changes are managed centrally on the inventory article or on a connected source such as Shopify. The platform ad is no longer the main place for article data. More on this: [Switching from Kleinanzeigen Enhanced](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/umstieg-von-kleinanzeigen-enhanced).

In the inventory you see articles, platforms and actions.
## Edit an article
Open Inventar (Inventory).
Find the article you want.
Open the editor using the action in the row.
Change the title, price, description, images, location or other details.
Then decide whether to save only the inventory article or to have clasify update active ads as well.
## Save in the inventory only
With Artikel speichern (Save article) you save the changes in clasify Business. Active ads on Kleinanzeigen or Flinkanzeigen are not changed automatically.
This makes sense if you want to prepare first and decide later whether clasify should update the changes live.
## Have clasify update active ads
If the article is already active on a platform, clasify can also transfer the changed article data to the active ad. To do this, use the option for updating active ads in the editing window.
clasify Business then sends the changed data to the platform.
For example, if you want to change an attribute such as material, color, condition or dimensions, maintain that information in the article's title or description. This information is then transferred when the ad is updated.
**warning: Use live updates deliberately**
When clasify updates active ads, interested buyers will see those changes on the platform shortly afterwards. So check the price, title and description carefully.
## Platforms in the article
The editing window has a section for platforms. There you can see whether the article is already published and which actions are available.
Typical actions are:
- publish
- republish
- pause
- reactivate
- sync
- remove from the platform
## If the update does not work
Check these points:
- Is the platform account connected?
- Are required details such as title, price, category, description, images and location complete?
- Is your profile complete enough for the platform?
- Does the active ad still exist on the platform?
- Is there a notice in the article or in the ads overview?
If an ad is no longer cleanly linked to the inventory, it can help to publish it again or to check the platform assignment.

### Format descriptions
Canonical URL: https://clasify.com/en/business/help/beschreibungen-formatieren
Source: src/content/docs/en/business/help/beschreibungen-formatieren.mdx
Description: How to structure article descriptions with headings, bold text and lists, and what carries over to Kleinanzeigen.
In clasify Business you edit the article description in an editor with a formatting toolbar. You see the text as it is structured and do not have to type any special characters by hand.
One thing matters here: Kleinanzeigen supports only a small subset of formatting. When you publish, clasify automatically translates your text into what the platform can display.
## Where to find the editor
- In the article under **Inventar > Artikel bearbeiten** (Inventory > Edit article), in the **Beschreibung** (Description) tab.
- In [bulk editing](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/massenbearbeitung), in the **Beschreibung** tab.
- With **Vorlage einfügen** (Insert template) you can insert a [text template](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/textvorlagen-erstellen-und-verwenden) into the text in both places.
## What carries over to Kleinanzeigen
Kleinanzeigen knows four formatting types, and clasify transfers them:
- Heading
- Bold text
- Bulleted list
- Numbered list
Everything else becomes normal text when you publish: italics, strikethrough, code, quotes, links and horizontal rules. The text is kept, only the markup is dropped.
**info: Heading levels are merged**
In the editor you can set several heading levels. Kleinanzeigen has only one heading style, so all levels look the same there. Use headings to structure your text, not to create a hierarchy.
## Formatting and your Kleinanzeigen package
Whether Kleinanzeigen displays formatting at all depends on your Kleinanzeigen package. With a package that supports extended descriptions, clasify transfers headings, bold text and lists. Without that support, the same text is shown as continuous running text.
**warning: Check with a test ad before first use**
First publish an article with formatting as a test ad and look at the result directly on Kleinanzeigen. That way you can see right away whether your package displays the formatting, before you switch over an entire range of items.
## Recommendations for readable ads
1. Start with two to three sentences describing the item. Interested buyers see these lines first.
2. Use a bulleted list for hard facts: dimensions, material, condition, what is included.
3. Put a heading before longer sections, for example "Pickup and shipping".
4. Use bold text sparingly. A few highlighted terms work well; an entire paragraph in bold does not.
5. Put standard notes such as pickup times or exclusion of warranty at the end and save them as a text template.
## Pasting text from other programs
When you copy text from Word, a shop backend or a website, clasify removes unnecessary formatting characters on paste. The structure of paragraphs and lists is kept.
For descriptions from an import source, you control this with the **HTML → Markdown** option:
- In the [feed import](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/feed-import-einrichten) as an import option.
- In Shopify, via the [description builder](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/shopify-produkte-importieren-und-synchronisieren#shopify-description-builder-pro-and-above).
Without this option, HTML tags such as `` or `
` end up as visible text in the description.
## If the formatting does not carry over
Check in this order:
- Does your Kleinanzeigen package support extended descriptions?
- Is it one of the four supported formatting types?
- Were the changes also transferred to the active ad? See [Edit articles and update them live](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/artikel-bearbeiten-und-live-uebernehmen).
- Does the description come from an import source and get overwritten during sync? Then check the source's sync fields.

### Bulk editing
Canonical URL: https://clasify.com/en/business/help/massenbearbeitung
Source: src/content/docs/en/business/help/massenbearbeitung.mdx
Description: How to change prices, texts, images and contact details for many inventory articles at once.
Bulk editing lets you change several inventory articles in one go. It pays off, for example, when you adjust prices across a whole range, replace a standard text, or when your location or legal notice (Impressum) changes.

As soon as you select articles, the bulk actions appear above the list.
**info: Depends on your plan**
Bulk editing is included from the Plus plan. Without a suitable plan the button is visible but cannot be used.
## Select articles and open bulk editing
1. Open **Inventar** (Inventory).
2. Narrow down the list using search, status filters or column filters.
3. Select the articles you want.
4. Click **Bearbeiten** (Edit) at the top.
5. Make the changes you want in the tabs.
6. Finish with **Nur speichern** (Save only) or **Speichern & anwenden** (Save & apply).
**warning: Filter first, then select**
Bulk editing affects all selected articles. Check your selection before you save. An accidental price change across hundreds of articles can only be reverted one article at a time.
## What you can change
### Preis (Price)
- **Auf Betrag setzen** (Set to amount): All selected articles get the same price.
- **Relativ anpassen** (Adjust relatively): Changes the existing price. You can use fixed amounts such as `+10` or `-20` and percentages such as `-10%`.
- **Betrag entfernen** (Remove amount): Deletes the price, for example for "Auf Anfrage" (On request).
- **Preistyp ändern** (Change price type): Festpreis (Fixed price), VB (Negotiable) or Zu verschenken (Free to give away).
### Titel (Title)
- Add text at the beginning or the end, for example a seasonal or promotional note.
- Search and replace, for example to swap an old model name for a new one.
### Beschreibung (Description)
- Insert text at the beginning or the end.
- Search and replace. If the replacement field stays empty, the text that was found is removed.
- Replace the entire description.
The editor supports the same formatting as in the article, see [Format descriptions](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/beschreibungen-formatieren).
### Bilder (Images)
- Add images to the existing images.
- Set an added image as the cover image.
- Shuffle the image order randomly.
**tip: What shuffling is for**
If you list many very similar articles, a different image order makes the ads look less uniform.
### PDFs
- Add documents to the existing documents.
- Delete existing documents by their title, with multiple titles separated by commas.
- Delete all documents.
### Standort (Location)
Set the postal code and street for all selected articles. Handy after a move or when a range of items changes to a different location.
### Kontakt (Contact)
- Contact name, maximum 30 characters.
- Phone number.
- Legal notice (Impressum) for commercial ads.
### Kleinanzeigen
**Externer Bewerbungslink (Jobs)** (External application link, Jobs): Sends interested people to an external application page instead of the Kleinanzeigen messages. This setting only takes effect in Jobs categories.
## Save only or apply directly
At the end you have two options:
- **Nur speichern** (Save only): The changes are saved in the inventory articles. Active ads remain unchanged.
- **Speichern & anwenden** (Save & apply): clasify also transfers the changes to the active ads. This button only appears if at least one selected article is live.
The transfer runs in the background. You can see the progress and any errors in the task panel, see [Tasks and progress](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/aufgaben-und-fortschritt).
## More bulk actions in the inventory
In addition to bulk editing, the following are available for your selection:
- **Planen** (Schedule): Schedule several articles together or spread them over a period, see [Scheduled articles](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/geplante-artikel).
- **Synchronisieren** (Sync): Sync listings with the platform.
- **Inserierungen** (Listings): Publish, republish, remove, pause or activate.
- **Löschen** (Delete): When you delete, clasify asks whether only the inventory articles or also the associated ads should be removed.
## If a change does not take effect
- Check that the articles were actually selected. After saving, the selection stays in place so you can run further actions.
- With search and replace, the exact text you entered is searched for, including upper and lower case.
- If a field is synced from an import source, the next sync may overwrite your change again. Check the sync fields of [Shopify](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/shopify-produkte-importieren-und-synchronisieren) or your [feed](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/feed-import-einrichten).
- If the change is visible in the inventory but not in the ad, it was only saved and not applied.

### Publish and manage ads
Canonical URL: https://clasify.com/en/business/help/anzeigen-veroeffentlichen-und-verwalten
Source: src/content/docs/en/business/help/anzeigen-veroeffentlichen-und-verwalten.mdx
Description: How to publish and manage ads on connected platforms.
In clasify Business, ads are created from inventory articles. You can publish them directly from the inventory or check existing live ads in the platform view.

The platform view shows live ads, status, metrics and direct actions.
## Check before publishing
- Is a platform connected?
- Is your listing profile complete?
- Does the article have a title, description, price, location and images?
- Does the category roughly fit the article?
- Are legal details such as the legal notice (Impressum) filled in?
## Publish an ad from the inventory
1. Open **Inventar** (Inventory).
2. Find the article you want.
3. Open the publish action in the row.
4. Choose the platform, for example **Kleinanzeigen** or **Flinkanzeigen**.
5. Click **Inserieren** (Publish).
6. Wait until the status in the **Plattformen** (Platforms) column updates.
7. If needed, open the ad directly on the platform.
## Publish several articles
Select several articles in the inventory and use the bulk action **Inserierungen** (Listings). Then choose the platform and the action you want:
- **Inserieren** (Publish): Create new ads.
- **Neu inserieren** (Republish): Remove existing ads and post them again.
- **Anzeigen entfernen** (Remove ads): Remove ads from the platform; the articles stay in the inventory.
- **Alle pausieren** (Pause all) or **Alle aktivieren** (Activate all): Change the status of several live ads.
**tip: Filter briefly before bulk actions**
Use search or status filters before you select many articles. This keeps you from accidentally publishing or removing the wrong articles.
## Manage ads in the platform view
Under **Integrationen > Kleinanzeigen** (Integrations > Kleinanzeigen) you see your live ads. There you can:
- Open ads.
- Pause or activate ads.
- Delete ads.
- Save existing ads to the inventory.
- Sync ads with the inventory.
- Check views, watchers, enquiries and booked visibility options.
The **Inventar** column shows whether an inventory article already exists for a live ad.
The platform view is especially helpful if you already have ads on Kleinanzeigen and want to bring them into clasify Business afterwards.
### Save to inventory or sync with inventory?
Both actions sound similar but do different things:
- **Im Inventar speichern** (Save to inventory) creates a new inventory article from a live ad. Use it for ads that clasify does not know yet.
- **Inventar synchronisieren** (Sync inventory) links existing live ads to the matching inventory articles and updates their status and metrics. Use it when the link has been lost or status values in the inventory look outdated.
You start the sync above the list for all ads, or as a bulk action for your selection.
## Bulk actions in the platform view
When you select several ads in the Kleinanzeigen view, you can do the following with them together:
- sync with the inventory,
- save to the inventory,
- activate,
- pause,
- delete.
## Understand the status
- **Aktiv** (Active): The ad is live.
- **Pausiert** (Paused): The ad is not active but can be activated again.
- **In Bearbeitung** (In progress) or **Ausstehend** (Pending): clasify is still processing the action.
- **Fehler** (Error): The ad could not be created or updated.
- **Gelöscht** (Deleted): The ad was removed or no longer exists on the platform.
**warning: Check if the status shows an error**
If an ad cannot be published, first check the profile, legal notice, images, location, category and platform connection. Often only a single detail is missing.
## Changes to live ads
When you edit a published article, changes are not always updated live automatically. Save the article in a way that has clasify update the active ad if the changes should also become visible on the platform.
You can find more under [Edit articles and update them live](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/artikel-bearbeiten-und-live-uebernehmen).
## How ads perform
Whether a published ad is actually seen and receives messages, you can read under [Understand statistics](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/statistiken-verstehen). If a publication fails, you can find the typical causes under [Common problems](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/haeufige-probleme).

### Scheduled articles
Canonical URL: https://clasify.com/en/business/help/geplante-artikel
Source: src/content/docs/en/business/help/geplante-artikel.mdx
Description: How to use the calendar to prepare and control publications.
With scheduled articles you control when prepared ads are published. This helps if you want to put a range of items online gradually.

The calendar shows which articles are scheduled on which days.
## Schedule a single ad
1. Open **Inventar** (Inventory).
2. Check the article you want to publish later.
3. In the article row, click **Anzeige planen** (Schedule ad).
4. Choose **Manuell** (Manual).
5. Set the date and time.
6. Decide what should happen if the article is already published.
7. Click **Planen** (Schedule).
## Spread several ads automatically
If you select several articles, you can spread them automatically over a period. To do this, you set:
- Start date and end date.
- The time of day at which to publish.
- A random deviation in minutes.
- Whether the order should be shuffled.
clasify shows you a preview before the jobs are created. It shows the period, the daily time window, the approximate gap between two articles and the first scheduled dates with article names.
## Repeat regularly
In the **Manuell** tab you can also turn on the **Wiederholen** (Repeat) switch. clasify then creates a whole series of dates and republishes the ad at each date. This replaces pushing it up manually.
More on this under [Publish ads on a recurring schedule](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/wiederkehrende-veroeffentlichung).
**tip: Don**
An even distribution spreads out the work and makes it easier to observe how your ads perform.
## If already published
When scheduling, you can set what should happen if an article is already live at the scheduled time:
- **Überspringen** (Skip): The job is marked as done. The existing ad stays unchanged.
- **Löschen & neu inserieren** (Delete & republish): The existing ad is removed and posted again. This can make sense if you want to deliberately reposition an ad.
## Understand the status
- **Geplant** (Scheduled): The job is waiting for its time.
- **In Bearbeitung** (In progress): clasify is publishing right now.
- **Abgeschlossen** (Completed): The ad was created.
- **Fehlgeschlagen** (Failed): The publication could not be carried out.
You can retry or delete failed jobs. To do so, open the job in the calendar or in the list.
## Calendar and list
The **Kalender** (Calendar) tab is suited for the monthly overview. The **Liste** (List) tab is suited for when you want to search specifically for scheduled, completed or failed jobs.
## Limits
Scheduled jobs can be created at most one year ahead. Your plan may also limit the calendar feature or the number of scheduled jobs.
If a schedule would exceed the limit, clasify first shows a notice with the existing, the new and the maximum possible jobs. Then delete jobs you no longer need or schedule fewer articles at once.
---
### Publish ads on a recurring schedule
Canonical URL: https://clasify.com/en/business/help/wiederkehrende-veroeffentlichung
Source: src/content/docs/en/business/help/wiederkehrende-veroeffentlichung.mdx
Description: How to have ads republished automatically at a fixed interval so they regularly appear at the top again.
Over time, ads slip down in the search results. With a repeat, you tell clasify to republish an ad automatically at a fixed interval, instead of pushing it up manually.

Recurring publications appear as individual jobs in the calendar and in the list.
## How a repeat works
When you set it up, clasify creates all dates of the series as individual scheduled jobs. At each date, the existing ad is deleted and posted again. The ad therefore appears as a new ad again.
**info: A repeat always means republishing**
With repeats there is no choice between skipping and republishing. So that the ad really moves back to the top, it is deleted and recreated every time. The old ad, including its previous views, disappears in the process.
## Set up a repeat
1. Open **Inventar** (Inventory).
2. For the article you want, click **Anzeige planen** (Schedule ad). For several articles, select them first and use the bulk action **Planen** (Schedule).
3. Stay in the **Manuell** (Manual) tab.
4. Under **Zeitpunkt der Inserierung** (Time of publication), set the first date.
5. Turn on the **Wiederholen** (Repeat) switch.
6. Under **Ende** (End), choose the date until which the series should run.
7. Set the **Intervall** (Interval), for example every 2 weeks.
8. Check the preview with the scheduled dates.
9. Click **Planen**.
## Set the interval and end
The interval consists of a number and a unit: every **N Tage** (days), **Wochen** (weeks) or **Monate** (months). The end date limits the series; it can be at most one year in the future.
Before creating the series, clasify shows you how many repeats will result and lists the first dates. If you have selected several articles, you also see the total number of jobs, that is, repeats multiplied by the number of articles.
**tip: Choose a realistic interval**
An interval that is too short comes across as pushy to interested buyers and needlessly uses up quota, because every repeat creates a new ad. For most ranges of items, a gap of one to four weeks makes sense.
## Keep an eye on limits
Every date in the series counts as its own scheduled job. Your plan limits the number of jobs scheduled at the same time. If a series would exceed the limit, clasify shows a notice before creating it, with the existing, the new and the maximum possible jobs.
What helps then:
- Move the end date closer.
- Increase the interval.
- Schedule fewer articles at once.
- Delete completed or no longer needed jobs.
- Switch to a plan with a higher limit, see [Subscription, limits and features](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/abo-limits-und-funktionen).
## Monitor and end a series
You can find the dates of a series under **Geplante Artikel** (Scheduled articles) in the calendar and in the list. If you delete a job from a series, clasify asks whether to remove only that one date or all pending dates of the series.
Dates that have already run are kept as completed jobs.
## If a repeat does not run
- Is the platform account still connected?
- Is the article complete, that is, title, category, price, description, image and location?
- Was the limit for scheduled jobs reached in the meantime?
- Does the job in the calendar show an error status? You can retry or delete failed jobs.
You can find more on scheduling, status and the calendar under [Scheduled articles](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/geplante-artikel).

### Tasks and progress
Canonical URL: https://clasify.com/en/business/help/aufgaben-und-fortschritt
Source: src/content/docs/en/business/help/aufgaben-und-fortschritt.mdx
Description: How to see what clasify Business is currently processing in the background and how to find failed operations.
Actions that clasify Business runs on a platform happen in the background. This applies especially to bulk actions: if you publish 80 articles, clasify works through them one after another while you keep working.
You can see the status of these operations in the task panel (Aufgabenanzeige) in the header.
## Open the task panel
1. Start an action, for example a publication from the inventory.
2. Open the task panel in the header.
3. Click a task to see the details.
While a task is running, you see a progress bar and the number of entries already processed, for example `34/80`. For larger tasks, clasify also shows which article is currently being processed.
## Which actions run as a task
- Publishing and republishing articles
- Removing, pausing and resuming ads
- Applying changes to active ads
- Editing and deleting articles
- Syncing listings with the platform
- Processing images
- Scheduled publications
## Task status
| Status | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| **Ausstehend** (Pending) | The task is queued and starts shortly. |
| **Läuft** (Running) | clasify is working through the entries right now. |
| **Abgeschlossen** (Completed) | All entries were successful. |
| **Teilweise** (Partial) | Some were successful, others were not. |
| **Fehlgeschlagen** (Failed) | No entry could be processed. |
| **Abgebrochen** (Cancelled) | You stopped the task. |
**info: Teilweise is the most important status**
With this status, some of your articles worked and others did not. Open the task and look at the failed entries, otherwise individual ads will be missing without you noticing.
## Check individual entries
When you open a task, you see every entry with its own status: Ausstehend (Pending), Wird verarbeitet (Being processed), Erfolgreich (Successful), Fehlgeschlagen (Failed), Übersprungen (Skipped) or Abgebrochen (Cancelled). Failed entries are listed first and show the platform's error message.
Typical messages and what is behind them:
- A required detail is missing on the article, for example category, price or image.
- Incomplete listing profile, especially location or legal notice (Impressum).
- Ad limit of your Kleinanzeigen package reached.
- No connection to the platform account.
After fixing the problem, run the action again for the affected articles. Only the articles you select again are processed; ads that already succeeded are left untouched.
## Cancel a running task
A running task has the **Abbrechen** (Cancel) button. Entries that have already been processed are kept; the remaining ones are no longer carried out.
**warning: Cancelling does not undo anything**
Cancelling only stops further processing. Ads that were created, changed or deleted up to that point stay in that state.
## If a task is not making progress
- Check whether your platform account is connected and selected.
- Reload the page. Progress continues on the server and is not lost.
- If a task stays stuck, cancel it and start it again with a smaller selection.
If you get stuck, write to [support@clasify.com](mailto:support@clasify.com) or use the [support page](https://clasify.com/en/support).

### Create and use text templates
Canonical URL: https://clasify.com/en/business/help/textvorlagen-erstellen-und-verwenden
Source: src/content/docs/en/business/help/textvorlagen-erstellen-und-verwenden.mdx
Description: How to create reusable texts for messages and article descriptions.
Text templates help you reuse common replies and standard phrases faster. You can use them for messages, shipping notes or description texts, for example.

In the Textvorlagen (Text templates) area you manage recurring texts in one central place.
## Create a template
- Open Textvorlagen (Text templates).
- Click Neue Vorlage (New template).
- Give it a unique name.
- Write the template text.
- Save the template.
Use names you can recognize quickly, for example "Pickup", "Shipping possible" or "Final price".
## Use a template in messages
In the messages area you can pick a suitable template and insert it into the reply field. You can then adjust the text before you send it.
This helps if you often answer similar questions, for example:
- Is the article still available?
- Can the article be shipped?
- When is pickup possible?
- Is there a discount if I buy several articles?
## Use a template in article texts
You can also use templates for article descriptions. This works well for recurring notes such as shipping, pickup, condition or payment terms.
**tip: Keep templates personal**
A template saves time, but it should not feel like an automatic canned reply. Adjust it briefly to the specific enquiry when needed.
## Maintain your templates
Keep your templates up to date. Shipping costs, pickup times, legal notice details and warranty exclusions in particular should be checked regularly.
You can:
- edit templates,
- copy templates,
- delete templates,
- use them as a starting point for new variants.

### Connect your Kleinanzeigen account
Canonical URL: https://clasify.com/en/business/help/kleinanzeigen-konto-verbinden
Source: src/content/docs/en/business/help/kleinanzeigen-konto-verbinden.mdx
Description: How to connect your Kleinanzeigen account to clasify Business and check that it is ready to use.
For clasify Business to publish ads, retrieve messages and show statistics, at least one Kleinanzeigen account must be connected.
**info: Messages and statistics**
Messages and statistics are currently specific to Kleinanzeigen.de. These areas show data from the connected Kleinanzeigen.de account.
**info: Flinkanzeigen**
If you want to use Flinkanzeigen instead of Kleinanzeigen or in addition to it, you will find the matching guide under [Connect and use Flinkanzeigen](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/flinkanzeigen-verbinden-und-nutzen).

In the integrations you can see which platform accounts are connected.
## Before you connect
First check these points:
- You have access to the Kleinanzeigen account you want to use.
- The account is active and ready to use at Kleinanzeigen.
- Your profile in clasify Business is as complete as possible, especially name, location and legal notice (Impressum).
**tip: Why this matters**
If profile details are missing, clasify Business points this out before you publish. That way you can fill in the details before an ad is created incomplete or incorrectly.
## Connect your account
- In clasify Business, open the Integrationen (Integrations) area.
- Select Kleinanzeigen.
- Click Konto hinzufügen (Add account) or Verbinden (Connect).
- Sign in with your Kleinanzeigen account in the window that appears.
- Complete the connection and wait until clasify Business shows the account.
After connecting, the account should appear in the overview. Select it if you work with several accounts.
## How to tell an account is connected
A connected account is ready to use when:
- it is shown in the integrations overview,
- its status is not set to disconnected or faulty,
- you can select the account in the top area of the app,
- the Inventar (Inventory), Anzeigen (Ads), Nachrichten (Messages) and Statistiken (Statistics) areas load normally.
## Switching accounts
If you have connected several accounts, you can switch the active account in the app. Most areas then show only the data of the selected account, for example ads, messages, statistics and scheduled articles.
## Disconnecting
You can disconnect a connected account again in the integrations. After that, clasify Business can no longer publish new ads for this account, retrieve messages or update statistics.
Inventory articles you have already created are kept in clasify Business.
## If the connection does not work
Check these points:
- Is the Kleinanzeigen account active and reachable?
- Did you sign in with the right account?
- Is the account already connected to another clasify Business login?
- Are required profile details such as location or legal notice incomplete?
- Is a notice or error shown in the integrations overview?
If the connection still does not work, disconnect it, reload the page and connect the account again.
If you are still stuck, write to [support@clasify.com](mailto:support@clasify.com) or use the [support page](https://clasify.com/en/support).

### Connect and use Flinkanzeigen
Canonical URL: https://clasify.com/en/business/help/flinkanzeigen-verbinden-und-nutzen
Source: src/content/docs/en/business/help/flinkanzeigen-verbinden-und-nutzen.mdx
Description: How to connect Flinkanzeigen and use the platform in the inventory and the ads overview.
Besides Kleinanzeigen, clasify Business can also work with Flinkanzeigen, provided the feature is available for your account.
For Flinkanzeigen, a regular Flinkanzeigen account is enough. A Kleinanzeigen PRO account is only relevant for using Kleinanzeigen.de in clasify Business.
**info: Kleinanzeigen**
Kleinanzeigen has its own guide, because that account is also important for messages and statistics in clasify Business: [Connect your Kleinanzeigen account](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/kleinanzeigen-konto-verbinden).
**info: Messages and statistics**
Flinkanzeigen can be used for ads. However, messages and statistics in clasify Business currently show data from Kleinanzeigen.de.

Flinkanzeigen is managed in the integrations.
## Connect Flinkanzeigen
- Open Integrationen (Integrations).
- Select Flinkanzeigen.
- Open the settings or the connection area.
- Start the connection and sign in to Flinkanzeigen.
- Wait until clasify Business shows the account as connected.
If Flinkanzeigen is not shown in your account, the feature is probably not yet available for your plan or account.
## Publish articles on Flinkanzeigen
Once connected, you can also publish inventory articles on Flinkanzeigen.
- Open Inventar (Inventory).
- Find the article you want.
- Open the platform action.
- Select Flinkanzeigen.
- Check the article details and start the publication.
## Manage Flinkanzeigen ads
In the ads overview, you can view your Flinkanzeigen ads. Depending on the status, you can open them, save them as inventory articles or process them further.
Typical statuses are:
- active
- paused
- archived
- rejected
**info: Not every status can be controlled directly**
Some statuses come from the platform. If an ad is rejected or archived, check the details directly in the ads overview or at Flinkanzeigen.
## Save an ad as an inventory article
If a Flinkanzeigen ad is not yet in your inventory, you can take it over as an inventory article. After that, you can keep maintaining it in clasify Business and use it for further platform actions.
## Disconnecting
You can disconnect the connection again in the integrations. After that, clasify Business can no longer run new actions for this Flinkanzeigen account. Inventory articles you have already created are kept.
If you are still stuck, write to [support@clasify.com](mailto:support@clasify.com) or use the [support page](https://clasify.com/en/support).

### Set up feed import
Canonical URL: https://clasify.com/en/business/help/feed-import-einrichten
Source: src/content/docs/en/business/help/feed-import-einrichten.mdx
Description: How to connect your own product or job source as a CSV, JSON or XML feed to clasify Business and keep it up to date.
With feed import, you bring articles from your own data source into the inventory, even when there is no ready-made integration for it. Typical sources are shop systems such as WooCommerce, Shopware, JTL or Gambio, an export from your inventory management system, a Google Sheet or an applicant tracking system (ATS) such as coveto.

You will find feed import under Integrationen (Integrations) in the Import section.
**info: There are ready-made guides for two special cases**
For job ads from coveto and for custom Shopify feeds with Feedyio, there are dedicated articles: [Set up the coveto job feed](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/coveto-job-feed-einrichten) and [Customize Shopify with Feedyio](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/shopify-individualisieren-mit-feedyio). The process in clasify Business is the same in both cases as described here.
## Requirements
- Your plan includes feed import. Manual sync is included from Plus, automatic sync from Pro.
- You have a file or a publicly accessible URL in a supported format.
- The source contains at least a title for each entry.
## Supported formats
clasify Business processes **CSV**, **JSON** and **XML**.
You can paste Google Sheets directly as a URL: clasify recognizes the sheet and retrieves it as CSV. It is important that the sheet is publicly accessible.
**warning: Convert Excel files first**
`.xlsx` files are not read directly. Export the sheet as CSV first or store it as a Google Sheet.
## URL feed or file import
Feed import has two tabs:
- **URL-Feed** (URL feed): clasify retrieves the source itself at regular intervals. This is the only way to get repeated sync and auto-sync. It is the recommended option for anything that changes.
- **Datei-Import** (File import): You upload a file by drag and drop or file selection. This suits one-off transfers, for example when moving an existing range over.
**info: One URL feed per account**
The interface currently manages one URL feed. If you want to combine several sources, build a shared feed beforehand or additionally use the file import.
## Create a URL feed
1. Open **Integrationen > Feed-Import** (Integrations > Feed import).
2. Stay on the **URL-Feed** (URL feed) tab.
3. Paste the complete feed URL and click **Abrufen** (Fetch).
4. Check the **Spaltenvorschau** (Column preview). clasify shows you the format, the number of rows and a few sample records.
5. Review the **Feldzuordnung** (Field mapping). clasify already suggests a mapping based on the column names.
6. Set the **Optionen** (Options).
7. Click **Weiter zur Vorschau** (Continue to preview) and look at how the articles would be imported.
8. Start the import.
## Map fields
In the field mapping, you connect the columns of your source with the fields of an inventory article:
- **Titel** (Title): Required field. The import cannot start without a title.
- **Beschreibung** (Description): The ad text.
- **Preis** (Price): Amount without a currency symbol.
- **Preistyp** (Price type): Festpreis (fixed price), VB (negotiable), Zu verschenken (free to a good home) or Auf Anfrage (on request).
- **Kategorie** (Category): Should be specific so clasify can find the matching platform category. For example, wardrobes or desks rather than just furniture.
- **ID / SKU:** Stored as a reference and links the feed entry to the inventory article.
- **Marke** (Brand): Manufacturer or brand.
- **Zustand** (Condition): For example Neu (new) or Gebraucht (used).
- **PLZ** (Postal code): Location of the article. Without a value, clasify uses the postal code from your profile.
- **Direkt-Bewerben-Link** (Apply directly link): Only for job ads on Kleinanzeigen.
You select **image URLs** separately: click the columns that contain image addresses. The order in which you select them is the order in the ad.
**tip: Keep the reference unique**
The reference from **ID / SKU** decides whether an entry is recognized as a known article at the next sync or created as a new article. Duplicate values cause errors during import. It is best to use the article number from your system.
## Import options
- **Preistyp** (Price type): The default price type for all imported articles when the source does not provide its own.
- **Netto → Brutto** (Net → Gross): Converts net prices from the source into gross prices using the VAT rate you specify.
- **Rundung** (Rounding): Rounds prices to whole euros.
- **HTML → Markdown:** Converts HTML descriptions from the shop into clean text. Turn this on if your source delivers descriptions with `` or `
` tags. Learn more in [Format descriptions](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/beschreibungen-formatieren).
## Change the mapping later
If your source changes, you can redo the field mapping via the **Einstellungen** (Settings) of the feed. clasify notifies you if the new mapping changes existing links. Afterwards, be sure to check a few articles in the inventory.
## Sync and auto-sync
With **Feed neu einlesen** (Re-read feed) you fetch the current data manually. From Pro, you can also turn on automatic sync in the feed settings:
- **Zeitplan** (Schedule): either as an **Intervall** (Interval) every 6 hours, every 12 hours or daily, or at **festen Zeiten** (fixed times) of your choice (Berlin local time, at least 2 hours apart). How many fixed times you can set depends on your plan; Premium allows more than Pro.
- **Sync-Felder** (Sync fields): Price, title, description and images can each be activated individually. By default only the price is active. Deactivated fields keep your local changes.
- **Änderungen auf Plattform übernehmen** (Apply changes to platform): Updates not only the inventory article but also the active ad.
- **Neue Artikel automatisch veröffentlichen** (Publish new articles automatically): Does not just create new feed entries as inventory articles but publishes them straight away.
- **Produkt fehlt im Feed** (Product missing from feed): Do nothing, pause the ad or delete the ad.
**warning: Turn on automatic publishing deliberately**
If new feed entries are published automatically, ads are created without you reviewing each one. So filter in the source which entries end up in the feed in the first place, and check the first few runs.
## Common errors
- **"Keine Datensätze unter dieser URL gefunden" (No records found at this URL):** The URL is not publicly accessible, returns a login page or a different format than expected. Try opening the URL in a private browser window.
- **Fields end up in the wrong field:** Open the field mapping and correct it. In XML feeds, field names are case-sensitive.
- **Images are missing or in the wrong order:** Check that all image columns are selected and in which order.
- **Prices are wrong:** Check the net-to-gross conversion, the VAT rate and the rounding.
- **Auto-sync not available:** Automatic sync is included from Pro. On the Plus plan, you start the sync manually.
- **Import stops with a limit notice:** Check [Subscription, limits and features](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/abo-limits-und-funktionen) to see how many inventory articles your plan allows.
If the feed URL cannot be processed, write to [support@clasify.com](mailto:support@clasify.com) or use the [support page](https://clasify.com/en/support). Feel free to send us the feed URL, and we will look at the mapping together.

### Set up the coveto job feed
Canonical URL: https://clasify.com/en/business/help/coveto-job-feed-einrichten
Source: src/content/docs/en/business/help/coveto-job-feed-einrichten.mdx
Description: How to find the feed URL in coveto and set up manual or automatic sync with Kleinanzeigen.
With the coveto job feed, you bring open positions into clasify Business and publish them on Kleinanzeigen. On the Plus plan you start the sync manually, and from Pro on auto-sync takes over.
## Requirements
- You have access to your coveto account.
- Published jobs exist in coveto.
- Your clasify Business plan includes feed import: manual sync from Plus, auto-sync from Pro.
- For Kleinanzeigen, you use a suitable Kleinanzeigen PRO plan.
## Find the feed link in coveto
1. Log in to coveto.
2. Open **Werkzeuge** (Tools).
3. Choose **Teilen und Einbetten** (Share and embed).
4. Look for the **JSON-Feed** (JSON feed) there. The XML version is still available as well.
5. Copy the complete JSON URL and then enter it in clasify Business.
**tip: JSON recommended**
coveto describes JSON as the leaner and more modern format. For a new setup, use the JSON URL
where possible. If you already use an XML feed, clasify Business can process that as well.
**info: Job feed or XML feed?**
In current coveto versions, the matching setting is called **Einstellungen → Job-Feed** (Settings → Job feed). In
older guides or interfaces it may still be called **XML-Feed** (XML feed).
## Set up the feed in clasify Business
1. In clasify Business, open **Integrationen → Feed-Import** (Integrations → Feed import). There is no separate coveto integration; the coveto job feed is set up through the general feed import.
2. In the feed import, paste the JSON URL you copied. Alternatively, you can use an XML URL.
3. Save the connection and check the jobs and fields that were detected.
4. If needed, enter a complete URL in the **Direkt-bewerben-Link** (Apply directly link) field. The best choice is the direct link to the matching application form in coveto.
5. Check a test job, paying particular attention to the title, description, location and the Direkt-bewerben-Link.
6. On the Plus plan, start the sync manually, or from Pro on, activate auto-sync.
## Set and check the Direkt-bewerben-Link
In the feed import you can set a **Direkt-bewerben-Link** (Apply directly link). Enter any complete URL there, for example `https://…`. For jobs from coveto, the direct link to the respective application form works best.
clasify passes this URL on to Kleinanzeigen, where it appears as a green **Bewerben** (Apply) button. After the first transfer, open a test ad and check that the button opens the right form. If you use the coveto application form as the target, incoming applications, communication and further processing stay entirely in coveto.

This is how the Direkt-bewerben-Link appears on Kleinanzeigen. The excerpt has been reduced to the relevant area and anonymized; the display may change.
## Description and formatting
With Kleinanzeigen PRO Premium, clasify converts the HTML description from coveto into the four available formatting options. With PRO Basic, the same description is transferred, but Kleinanzeigen displays it as plain text without these formatting options.
## If the feed is not visible
- Check that you have access to **Werkzeuge → Teilen und Einbetten** (Tools → Share and embed) in coveto.
- Search the coveto help for **Job-Feed** (job feed) or **XML-Feed** (XML feed).
- Check that the jobs you want are published and included in the feed.
- If you cannot find the menu item or the URL, coveto support can help with your specific account.
coveto describes further technical options on its permanent page [Recruiting-Schnittstellen](https://www.coveto.de/recruiting-schnittstellen) (recruiting interfaces).
If the feed URL cannot be processed in clasify Business, write to [support@clasify.com](mailto:support@clasify.com) or use the [support page](https://clasify.com/en/support).

### Connect Shopify
Canonical URL: https://clasify.com/en/business/help/shopify-verbinden
Source: src/content/docs/en/business/help/shopify-verbinden.mdx
Description: How to authorize your Shopify store in clasify Business, use it as a product source and disconnect it again when needed.
With the Shopify integration, you use your store as a product source. Products are brought from Shopify into the inventory and can then be published on platforms such as Kleinanzeigen or Flinkanzeigen.
**info: Want more customization?**
The direct connection is the fastest way. If you want full control over the description, image order or how your range is split up, you can instead build your own product feed with the Shopify app Feedyio and connect it through the feed import. Learn more in [Customize Shopify with Feedyio](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/shopify-individualisieren-mit-feedyio).

Enter the Shopify store URL and start the authorization with Verbinden (Connect).
## Requirements
- Your Kleinanzeigen account has a PRO or real estate plan. Learn more in [Connect your Kleinanzeigen account](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/kleinanzeigen-konto-verbinden).
- Your plan includes Shopify import.
- You have access to the Shopify admin of the store.
- You know the store address, for example `meinshop.myshopify.com`.
- Redirects to the Shopify authorization must be allowed in your browser.
## Connect Shopify
1. Open **Integrationen** (Integrations).
2. Choose **Shopify**.
3. Open **Einstellungen** (Settings) if you do not land directly on the connection screen.
4. Enter the store URL, for example `meinshop.myshopify.com`.
5. Click **Verbinden** (Connect).
6. Follow the Shopify authorization.
7. Return to clasify Business and check that Shopify is shown as connected.
**warning: If the connection does not start**
Check the spelling of the store URL. Use the Shopify domain without a path. `https://` is not required.
## After connecting
Once connected, you will find the following in Shopify:
- The product list of your store.
- Status, price, stock (total across all variants), tags, vendor and SKU.
- An indication of whether a product is already in the inventory.
- Actions for importing, publishing and syncing.
## Disconnect
You can disconnect in the Shopify settings. Articles that were already imported normally stay in the inventory. If the **Gefahrenzone** (Danger zone) is set to delete imported articles on disconnecting, clasify shows a warning with the number of affected articles before it disconnects.
**warning: Use the Gefahrenzone deliberately**
Only activate the deletion of imported articles on disconnecting if you are sure. Depending on the setting, active ads may be removed beforehand as well.

### Import and sync Shopify products
Canonical URL: https://clasify.com/en/business/help/shopify-produkte-importieren-und-synchronisieren
Source: src/content/docs/en/business/help/shopify-produkte-importieren-und-synchronisieren.mdx
Description: How to bring Shopify products into clasify Business and keep them up to date.
Once connected, clasify Business shows your Shopify products in a product list. There you can see which products are already imported, which can be updated and which have been published on platforms. How to connect your store is explained in [Connect Shopify](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/shopify-verbinden).

The Shopify product list is the starting point for import, sync and publishing.
## Shopify, inventory and platforms
Shopify is your product source. The inventory is the central management area in clasify Business. Ads are published on platforms from there.
The normal workflow is:
1. Maintain the product in Shopify.
2. Import the product into clasify Business.
3. Check the article in the inventory.
4. Publish the article on Kleinanzeigen or Flinkanzeigen.
## Import products
1. Open **Integrationen > Shopify** (Integrations > Shopify).
2. Search or filter for the products you want.
3. Check the title, SKU, category, tags, vendor, price, stock and status.
4. Select individual products or several products.
5. Click **ins Inventar importieren** (import to inventory).
6. Open the imported articles in the inventory and check the ad description.
You can select up to 250 products per import. The import runs in the background, and you can follow its progress under [Tasks and progress](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/aufgaben-und-fortschritt); with many products this can take a while. Shopify products that have already been imported are skipped so that no duplicate inventory article is created.
**tip: Check your shop texts**
Shopify descriptions are often written for an online shop. For ads, other details are sometimes more important, for example pickup, condition, dimensions or what is included. If German Shopify translations are enabled, clasify prefers existing German titles and descriptions.
## Import and publish directly
You can also import products directly from Shopify and publish them on a platform. clasify first creates an inventory article and then publishes it.
This is handy when the product data is already well prepared. If you get error messages, still check the article in the inventory, because missing details are easier to spot there.
## Shopify description builder (Pro and above)
In **Shopify > Einstellungen > Allgemein** (Shopify > Settings > General) you define how clasify generates the article description from Shopify data.
With the **Shopify-Beschreibungs-Baukasten** (Shopify description builder), you assemble a description from Shopify fields and free text. You can insert the title, description, brand, product type, SKU, tags, price, product URL and metafields, for example. Using the buttons above the editor, you insert fields and metafields at the cursor position, and the live preview shows the result right away on a product from your shop.

In the description builder you combine Shopify fields, metafields and your own text into an ad description.
The builder uses **Liquid**, Shopify's template language. With it you can do more than insert fields: you can also use fallback values, conditions and text editing. The available placeholders are:
- `{{ title }}` for the Shopify title.
- `{{ description }}` for the Shopify description as text.
- `{{ vendor }}` for the vendor or brand.
- `{{ productType }}` for the product type.
- `{{ sku }}` for the SKU of the first variant.
- `{{ price }}` for the Shopify price of the variant that also supplies the ad price (see **Anzeigenpreis** (Ad price) under [Price calculation](#price-calculation-and-vat-conversion)), without conversion.
- `{{ tags }}` for the Shopify tags, comma-separated.
- `{{ productUrl }}` for the link to the product page in the shop. Stays empty if the product is not published in the Online Store.
- `{{ availableVariants }}` for a ready-made list of the variants in stock: one line per variant with its name and ad price, for example "Gloss Magenta / XL – 3.349 €". The quantity is deliberately not included, otherwise every sale would change the description and edit the ad. At most 30 lines and 1,000 characters; the rest appears as "… und N weitere" (… and N more). For products without variants, the placeholder stays empty.
- `variants` for your own loops (new syntax only). Each variant `v` has `v.title`, `v.options` (each option has `o.name` and `o.value`), `v.price` (Shopify price), `v.priceText` (converted like the ad price), `v.inventoryQuantity`, `v.sku` and `v.available`.
- `{{ meta.custom.material }}` for a metafield in the format `meta.namespace.key`.
- `tag_list` for the tags as a list, for example for conditions with `contains`.
If a namespace or key contains characters such as hyphens, write it in square brackets: `{{ meta["mein-shop"]["pflege-hinweis"] }}`. The metafield button in the builder sets the correct notation automatically.
If the description builder is turned off, clasify uses this order: the configured description metafield, the German Shopify translation of `body_html` if enabled and available, and then the Shopify default description (`body_html`).
Example of your own variant list:
```liquid
{% for v in variants %}{% if v.available %}- {{ v.title }}: {{ v.priceText }}
{% endif %}{% endfor %}
```
**info: Use quantities with care**
With `v.inventoryQuantity`, the description changes with every sale, and the sync then edits the ad each time. If it is enough for you to know which variants are in stock, use `{{ availableVariants }}` or `v.available`.
**info: Plan-dependent**
The Shopify description builder is available from Pro, including Liquid with conditions and filters. Without Pro, the normal description import via the Shopify description or the description metafield remains.
### Switch to the new syntax
Templates created before Liquid was introduced use the previous notation without spaces, for example `{{title}}` or `{{meta:custom.material}}`. These templates keep working unchanged. Conditions, fallback values and filters only become available after the switch.
As long as a template still uses the previous notation and the builder is active, clasify shows the notice **Neue Vorlagen-Syntax verfügbar** (New template syntax available) above the editor. With **Auf neue Syntax umstellen** (Switch to new syntax), clasify converts your template automatically: `{{title}}` becomes `{{ title }}` and `{{meta:custom.material}}` becomes `{{ meta.custom.material }}`. Free text is preserved.
New accounts currently also start with the previous notation. To work with Liquid right away, proceed like this:
1. Open **Shopify > Einstellungen > Allgemein** (Shopify > Settings > General) and insert at least one field in the builder, for example with the **Titel** (Title) button.
2. Turn on the toggle of the description builder.
3. In the blue notice, click **Auf neue Syntax umstellen** (Switch to new syntax).
4. Keep building out your template with Liquid. Under **Syntax-Hilfe** (Syntax help) in the toolbar you will find examples that you insert with one click.
5. Save the settings.
The switch counts as a template change: when you save, clasify asks whether the template should apply only to new articles or also to existing ones.
### Conditions, fallback values and filters
With `{{ ... }}` you output a value, and with `{% ... %}` you control which text appears. The most important building blocks:
**Fallback value if a field is empty or missing:**
```liquid
Farbe: {{ meta.custom.farbe | default: "siehe Fotos" }}
Marke: {{ vendor | default: productType }}
```
**Show text only under a condition:**
```liquid
{% if meta.custom.zustand == "neu" %}Neuware, originalverpackt.{% endif %}
{% if tag_list contains "Sale" %}Reduzierter Artikel!{% endif %}
{% if meta.custom.material %}
Material: {{ meta.custom.material }}
{% else %}
Material: auf Anfrage
{% endif %}
```
**Distinguish several cases:**
```liquid
{% case meta.custom.zustand %}
{% when "neu" %}Neu und unbenutzt.
{% when "wie neu" %}Kaum benutzt, ohne Gebrauchsspuren.
{% else %}Gebraucht, Details siehe Fotos.
{% endcase %}
```
**Edit text with filters:**
```liquid
{{ vendor | replace: "GmbH", "" | strip }}
{{ title | upcase }}
{{ description | truncate: 400 }}
{{ price | replace: ".", "," }} €
{{ tag_list | join: " · " }}
```
You chain several filters one after another with `|`. You will find an overview of all filters in the [LiquidJS documentation](https://liquidjs.com/filters/overview.html).
A complete example of a template:
```liquid
{{ title }}
{% if meta.custom.zustand == "neu" %}Neuware, originalverpackt.{% else %}Zustand: {{ meta.custom.zustand | default: "gebraucht" }}{% endif %}
{% if vendor != blank %}Marke: {{ vendor }}{% endif %}
Material: {{ meta.custom.material | default: "siehe Beschreibung" }}
{{ description | truncate: 1500 }}
{% if productUrl != blank %}Mehr Infos im Shop: {{ productUrl }}{% endif %}
```
**warning: Check empty standard fields with blank**
A metafield that is missing on the product counts as not met in a condition. Standard fields such as `vendor`, `sku` or `productUrl`, however, are always present and, if in doubt, just empty. So check them with `!= blank`, for example `{% if vendor != blank %}`. A plain `{% if vendor %}` would be met even with an empty brand.
Good to know:
- Every condition needs an end: `{% if %}` is closed with `{% endif %}`, and `{% case %}` with `{% endcase %}`.
- Texts in conditions and filters are written in quotation marks. Comparisons are case-sensitive.
- `tag_list contains "Sale"` checks for an exact tag. `tags contains "Sale"`, by contrast, checks the comma-separated text and also matches tags such as `Sale-Ware`.
- clasify automatically collapses more than one blank line in a row. So when a condition does not apply, no big gap is left.
- The template may be at most 5,000 characters long. The tags `include`, `render` and `layout` are not supported.
### Syntax errors and preview
The live preview updates as you type. If the template contains an error, such as a missing `{% endif %}` or an unknown filter, clasify shows a **Syntaxfehler** (Syntax error) with the line number instead of the preview. A template with an error cannot be saved.
With the product selector in the preview, you can test the template on different products. If clasify does not find a metafield you used on the preview product, a notice appears. This is not automatically an error: perhaps only this one product has no value. With `default` or a condition you can handle such cases.
If a description still cannot be generated during sync, clasify uses the normal order of description metafield, translation and Shopify description for that article instead of aborting the import.
### Apply the template to existing articles
When you change and save the template, clasify asks what the new template should apply to:
- **Nur für neue Artikel** (Only for new articles): Articles that have already been imported keep their current description.
- **Auf bestehende Artikel anwenden** (Apply to existing articles): clasify marks the affected articles and regenerates their description at the next sync. Afterwards you see how many articles are affected and can start the sync right away.
**warning: Only with description sync active**
For existing articles to actually be updated, the **Beschreibung** (Description) field must be active in **Shopify > Einstellungen > Synchronisation** (Shopify > Settings > Synchronization). Otherwise the local description is kept.
**tip: Need even more customization?**
If the builder is not enough, for example for freely designed descriptions, a fixed image order or separate feeds for several locations and accounts, you can build your own product feed with the Shopify app Feedyio and connect it through feed import. Learn more in [Customize Shopify with Feedyio](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/shopify-individualisieren-mit-feedyio).
## Price calculation and VAT conversion
In **Shopify > Einstellungen > Allgemein** (Shopify > Settings > General) you also define how Shopify prices are carried over during import or sync. For products with several variants, you use **Anzeigenpreis** (Ad price) to decide which price goes into the ad: **Erste Variante** (First variant, default) or **Günstigste lagernde Variante** (Cheapest variant in stock). If no variant is in stock, the first one applies. Existing articles pick up a change at the next sync if the **Preis** (Price) field is active under **Synchronisation** (Synchronization).
Available options:
- **Brutto (wie im Shop)** (Gross, as in the shop): The Shopify price is taken over unchanged.
- **Netto → Brutto (+ MwSt.)** (Net → Gross, + VAT): The Shopify price is converted into a gross price using the target VAT rate.
- **Brutto → Brutto (MwSt.-Umrechnung)** (Gross → Gross, VAT conversion): A gross price with the source VAT is first converted back to net and then recalculated as a gross price with the target VAT.
If a seller is based in another country and maintains gross prices with a different VAT rate, you can use **Brutto → Brutto (MwSt.-Umrechnung)**.
Here is how:
1. Under **Preisberechnung** (Price calculation), choose **Brutto → Brutto (MwSt.-Umrechnung)**.
2. Under **Quell-MwSt. (%)** (Source VAT (%)), enter the VAT rate with which the Shopify price was originally calculated, for example **21** for the Netherlands.
3. Under **Ziel-MwSt. (%)** (Target VAT (%)), enter the VAT rate that should apply to your target prices, for example **19** for Germany.
4. Import or sync the articles and check a few prices in the inventory.
Example: A Shopify gross price of €121.00 with 21% source VAT corresponds to €100.00 net. With 19% target VAT, this becomes a target gross price of €119.00.
**warning: Check prices after switching**
The VAT conversion affects imported or synced prices. It only applies if a source VAT greater than 0 is entered and the Shopify variant is not marked as tax-exempt. After a change, check several articles, especially if rounding to whole euros is also active.
## Prepare larger transfers
When an article is published on a platform, clasify determines the platform category and fills in the platform attributes using AI.
With **direkt importieren und inserieren** (import and publish directly) and with **Auto-Publish**, many articles are transferred one after another. So before larger publishing runs, and before you activate Auto-Publish for an entire range, check that your clasify plan allows enough active ads and that your Kleinanzeigen plan still has free listings. You will find more in [Subscription, limits and features](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/abo-limits-und-funktionen) and [Understanding the overview](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/uebersicht-verstehen).
## Sync toggle per article
When a Shopify product is linked to an inventory article, the product list shows a sync toggle. If the toggle is active, the article can be updated from Shopify during sync.
Turn the sync off if you deliberately want to maintain the article locally in a different way, for example with a customized ad description.
## Sync all
With **Alle abgleichen** (Sync all), clasify checks imported Shopify articles and applies changes according to your sync settings. After the sync, you see how many articles were updated, unchanged, skipped or had errors.
## Which fields Shopify overwrites
In **Shopify > Einstellungen > Synchronisation** (Shopify > Settings > Synchronization) you define which data is carried over during sync:
- Preis (Price).
- Titel (Title).
- Beschreibung (Description).
- Bilder (Images).
- PLZ (Postal code).
- Veröffentlichte Artikel überspringen (Skip published articles).
Deactivated fields keep your local changes.
By default, the price sync is active. You turn on title, description, images and postal code deliberately when Shopify should permanently control these fields. With the postal code sync active, clasify first uses the postal code metafield if one is set; if it has no value, the postal code from your profile is used.
Price calculation and VAT conversion only apply when prices are imported or updated by the sync. Likewise, the Shopify description builder only applies when descriptions are taken over or updated from Shopify.
**warning: Description: 4,000 characters at most**
Kleinanzeigen generally allows a description of at most 4,000 characters, and clasify does not shorten it for you. A product with a longer description is not published: when publishing by hand, the message "Beschreibung zu lang" (Description too long) appears; when publishing automatically during sync, the product is skipped and tried again at every sync. In this case, shorten the description in Shopify or your template. Allow for up to 1,000 additional characters if you use `{{ availableVariants }}`.
## Lifecycle for deleted, inactive or sold-out products
In **Shopify > Einstellungen > Synchronisation** (Shopify > Settings > Synchronization) you define separately what should happen in four situations:
**Produkt in Shopify gelöscht** (Product deleted in Shopify)
- **Verknüpfung lösen** (Unlink, default): The inventory article stays but is no longer synced with Shopify. The ad stays live.
- **Anzeige pausieren** (Pause ad): The ad is paused on all platforms.
- **Anzeige + Artikel löschen** (Delete ad + article): The ad is removed and the article is deleted. If **Neue Produkte automatisch anlegen** (Create new products automatically) is active, clasify recreates it if needed.
**Produkt im Shop auf Entwurf oder archiviert** (Product set to draft or archived in the shop)
- **Nichts tun** (Do nothing, default): The ads keep running.
- **Anzeigen pausieren** (Pause ads): As soon as the product is active again in Shopify, clasify reactivates the ads, as long as this setting remains in place.
- **Anzeigen + Artikel löschen** (Delete ads + article): same as for a deleted product.
- **Verknüpfung lösen** (Unlink): The ads stay online, but the article is permanently detached from the Shopify sync, even if the product becomes active again later. You can only undo this by hand, using the article's sync toggle in the product list.
**Lagerbestand = 0** (Stock = 0)
- **Ignorieren** (Ignore, default).
- **Anzeige pausieren** (Pause ad).
- **Anzeige + Artikel löschen** (Delete ad + article).
**Lagerbestand > 0** (Stock > 0)
- **Ignorieren** (Ignore, default).
- **Pausierte Anzeigen reaktivieren** (Reactivate paused ads): Only affects ads that were paused because of stock 0. Ads paused by hand stay paused.
What counts is the stock across all variants: a product is only considered sold out when no variant is available any more. A variant is available if it has stock above 0, has no inventory tracking, or allows selling at stock 0. This also applies to automatic publishing and the automatic creation of new products.
**warning: Set stock rules carefully**
Automatic pauses or deletions affect live ads. Only use these rules if your Shopify stock is maintained reliably. With **Anzeige + Artikel löschen**, the article is irrevocably removed in clasify.
## Use product filters
With filters, you determine which Shopify products should be synced or created automatically. You can filter by product type, tags, vendor, status, SKU or metafields, for example, and set exclusion terms in the title.
Turn on **Filter in Tabelle anwenden** (Apply filters in table) if you only want to see filtered products in the product list.
## Auto-sync and automation
If your plan includes auto-sync, you can have Shopify synced automatically. Under **Zeitplan** (Schedule) you choose between two types:
- **Intervall** (Interval): every 6, 12 or 24 hours.
- **Feste Zeiten** (Fixed times): You set times of day at which clasify syncs daily, for example 06:00 and 18:00. The times apply in Berlin local time, in quarter-hour steps and at least 2 hours apart. The start is spread over the first 30 minutes after the selected time. How many times of day you can set depends on your plan; Premium allows more than Pro.
You can also define whether:
- unpublished articles are published automatically,
- new Shopify products are created automatically,
- and how many new articles are processed per sync run.
**warning: Auto-Publish only with filters**
If you let new Shopify products be published automatically, set sensible filters first. Otherwise, products from your entire store may be published.
## Common errors
- Product is imported but not live yet: Open the article in the inventory and check the required details.
- Product is not published during sync even though it is in stock: Check the length of the description (4,000 characters at most) and the required details in the inventory.
- Price is wrong: Check the price calculation, source VAT, target VAT, rounding and sync fields.
- Description is wrong: Check the Shopify description builder, the description metafield and the sync fields.
- Template cannot be saved: The template contains a syntax error. Check the line shown; usually an `{% endif %}` or a quotation mark is missing.
- Text from a condition appears even though the field is empty: Check standard fields with `!= blank` instead of just `{% if field %}`.
- "Auf neue Syntax umstellen" (Switch to new syntax) is not shown: The notice only appears if the builder is active and already contains a template.
- Product does not appear: Refresh the Shopify product list and check that the product is active in the store.
- Auto-sync is not available: Check your plan.

### Customize Shopify with Feedyio
Canonical URL: https://clasify.com/en/business/help/shopify-individualisieren-mit-feedyio
Source: src/content/docs/en/business/help/shopify-individualisieren-mit-feedyio.mdx
Description: Use the Shopify app Feedyio to build your own product feed and connect it to clasify Business through feed import.
The direct Shopify connection is the fastest way to bring products into clasify Business. If you need full control over the description, the image order or how your range is split up, we recommend the Shopify app [Feedyio](https://apps.shopify.com/product-feed-10). With it, you build your own product feed and connect it to clasify Business through feed import.
**info: Either the direct connection or a feed**
With Feedyio, your products come in through Integrationen → Feed-Import (Integrations → Feed import), not through the Shopify integration. You do not need the direct Shopify connection in this case. Choose one of the two routes for each part of your range so you do not end up with duplicate articles.
## When is Feedyio worth it?
The direct Shopify connection covers the standard case well: import products, keep prices and stock in sync, and compose descriptions with the [Shopify description builder](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/shopify-produkte-importieren-und-synchronisieren#shopify-description-builder-pro-and-above).
Feedyio is worth it when you want to customize beyond that. In Feedyio you design the feed freely with a template: which fields it contains, how the description is structured, which images appear in which order and which products are included in the feed at all. clasify Business then takes the finished feed over 1:1. Control stays entirely with you in the Shopify backend.
Two practical examples:
- **Design your ads completely yourself:** A furniture dealer builds the ad description entirely on their own, with fixed text blocks for pickup, delivery and opening hours, structured product details such as dimensions and material, and an exact image order in which an info image always appears in a fixed position.
- **Tailor your range precisely:** A bike dealer uses filters in Feedyio to include only the products that should actually be advertised, and so controls directly in Shopify what appears on Kleinanzeigen.
## Recommended feed structure
Feedyio can output feeds as XML, JSON or CSV. We recommend XML to get started. You can choose the field names freely, and clasify maps them during import. If you use the names from the example, clasify recognizes all fields automatically and you do not have to map anything manually:
```xml
8114
Großer Kleiderschrank Teak Vintage
1100
Festpreis
Schränke
Meine Marke
Gebraucht
13357
https://cdn.shopify.com/.../bild-1.jpg
https://cdn.shopify.com/.../bild-2.jpg
https://cdn.shopify.com/.../bild-3.jpg
```
Four points matter here:
1. **Images:** One `` line per image, in exactly the order in which the images should appear in the ad. clasify keeps the order 1:1.
2. **Category:** The value in `product_type` should describe concretely what the item is, for example Lampen (lamps), Schränke (wardrobes) or Schreibtische (desks) instead of just a general term like Möbel (furniture). That lets clasify automatically assign your articles to the matching Kleinanzeigen category.
3. **Description:** Put the finished text between ``. Write line breaks as you normally would, and please do not use HTML tags such as `
` or ``.
4. **Price:** Whole euro amounts without a currency symbol, for example `1100`. For the price type `price_type`, use `Festpreis` (fixed price) or `VB` (negotiable).
## Set up the feed
1. Install [Feedyio](https://apps.shopify.com/product-feed-10) in your Shopify store.
2. In Feedyio, create a Custom Feed in XML format and build the template following the recommended structure above. Use filters to decide which products are included in the feed.
3. Copy the feed URL from Feedyio.
4. In clasify Business, open **Integrationen → Feed-Import** (Integrations → Feed import) and paste the feed URL.
5. Save the connection and check a test article, paying particular attention to the title, description, category, price and image order.
6. On the Plus plan, start the sync manually, or enable auto-sync from Pro.
**info: One feed per account**
clasify Business currently processes one URL feed per account. If you want to cover several locations or ranges, combine them into a single feed in Feedyio and tell them apart through the field values, for example through the postal code (PLZ) per product.
## Scope and support
Feedyio is a standalone, paid app from a third-party provider in the Shopify App Store. The prices are manageable and depend on the Feedyio plan you choose. Questions about building the feed template are answered by Feedyio support. For everything that concerns the import and publishing in clasify Business, we are happy to help you at [support@clasify.com](mailto:support@clasify.com). Feel free to send us your feed URL and we will look at the mapping together.

### Answering messages
Canonical URL: https://clasify.com/en/business/help/nachrichten-beantworten
Source: src/content/docs/en/business/help/nachrichten-beantworten.mdx
Description: How to work with customer enquiries and conversations in clasify Business.
The messages view collects customer enquiries from your connected Kleinanzeigen account. On the left you see the conversations, and on the right the history for the selected ad.
**info: Currently specific to Kleinanzeigen.de**
The messages area currently shows conversations from Kleinanzeigen.de. Messages from other platforms such as Flinkanzeigen are not shown here at the moment.

The conversations are on the left, the chat history and the reply field on the right.
## Answer an enquiry
1. Open **Nachrichten** (Messages).
2. Select a conversation on the left.
3. In the header, check which ad the enquiry belongs to.
4. Read the conversation so far.
5. Write your reply in the reply field.
6. If needed, add a text template or an image.
7. Send the message.
## Use text templates
In the reply field you will find a templates button. With it you can insert frequently used replies, for example:
- Pickup possible.
- Shipping for an extra charge.
- Item is still available.
- Dimensions or condition.
- Viewing appointment.
You can find more under [Create and use text templates](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/textvorlagen-erstellen-und-verwenden).
## Attach images
If attachments are available for the conversation, you can send up to three images. clasify prepares the images before sending. Use attachments for detail photos, dimensions or signs of wear, for example.
## Check the ad in context
With **Anzeige öffnen** (Open ad) you can view the related ad directly on Kleinanzeigen. This helps when you cannot answer a question from within the chat, or when you want to check which images and details the prospective buyer sees.
## Typical use
- Confirm availability.
- Clarify pickup or shipping.
- Answer questions about condition, dimensions or accessories.
- Take up a price negotiation.
- Send additional images.
**tip: Combine with the autoresponder**
You can have recurring standard questions answered automatically. Still, check new messages regularly so individual enquiries do not get lost.
## If messages do not load
First check whether a Kleinanzeigen account is connected and selected. If clasify has no connection to the account, messages cannot be retrieved or sent.
---
### Set up the autoresponder
Canonical URL: https://clasify.com/en/business/help/autoresponder-einrichten
Source: src/content/docs/en/business/help/autoresponder-einrichten.mdx
Description: How to set up automatic replies and rules for recurring messages.
The autoresponder answers recurring enquiries automatically. You can start with a simple default reply and, if needed, use advanced rules for different types of messages.

The simple template suits a general instant reply.
## Set up the simple template
1. Open **Autoresponder**.
2. Turn on the switch at the top right.
3. Select the **Einfach** (Simple) tab.
4. Write your default reply.
5. If needed, insert placeholders:
- `{Sender}` for the name of the prospective buyer.
- `{Titel}` for the article title.
6. Wait a moment until the template has been saved automatically.
A simple template suits replies like this:
```text
Hi {Sender}, thank you for your interest in "{Titel}".
The item is still available. I will get back to you as soon as possible.
```
## Set a reply delay
By default, clasify replies immediately. With the **Antwortverzögerung** (Reply delay) card you can delay the reply instead: immediately, 5, 10, 15, 30 or 60 minutes, or 2 hours.
This makes sense because a reply within seconds is clearly recognizable as automated to prospective buyers. A short delay makes the reply feel more personal and also gives you the chance to reply yourself first to an important enquiry.
**info: Depends on your plan**
The reply delay is not included in every plan. If it is not available for your account, the card is grayed out and replies are sent immediately.
## Check usage and limits
At the top you can see how many automatic replies have already been sent in your current period. When a limit is reached, no further automatic replies are sent until replies become available again or your plan is changed.
Besides the number of replies, your plan also limits the **number of advanced rules**. You can find both values under [Subscription, limits and features](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/abo-limits-und-funktionen).

Advanced rules help you answer different questions in different ways.
## Use advanced rules
Advanced rules make sense when not every enquiry should get the same reply. Examples:
- Question contains `Versand` (shipping): reply with shipping costs and how it works.
- Question contains `noch da` (still there): reply about availability.
- Ad title contains `Sofa`: reply pointing to pickup and dimensions.
- Question contains `letzter Preis` (final price): reply about the room for negotiation.
The search texts are in German here because they need to match the German messages your buyers write.
A rule consists of:
- **Name:** So you can recognize the rule.
- **Priorität** (Priority): 1 is the most important, 5 the lowest.
- **Bedingungen** (Conditions): For each condition you choose the field to be checked, **Nachrichtentext** (Message text) or **Anzeigentitel** (Ad title), and enter the search text.
- **UND/ODER** (AND/OR): All conditions must match, or at least one.
- **Antwortnachricht** (Reply message): The text that is sent automatically. Placeholders such as `{Sender}` and `{Titel}` work here too.
- **Status:** Active or inactive.
The difference between the two fields is the real lever: with the **Anzeigentitel** you answer questions by product group, for example all sofa ads with a note about dimensions and pickup. With the **Nachrichtentext** you react to the specific question, for example to `Versand` or `noch da`.
**info: Fallback template**
If no advanced rule matches, clasify uses the simple template. So always create a good simple default reply first.
## Write good rules
- Use clear search terms such as `Versand`, `Abholung` (pickup), `noch da`, `Reservierung` (reservation).
- Keep replies friendly, but not too long.
- Avoid firm commitments if you cannot be sure to keep them.
- Give important rules a higher priority so they apply first.
- Test rules with typical phrasings from your customers.
**warning: Automatic, but controlled**
Automatic replies save time, but they do not replace your oversight. Check new messages regularly and adjust rules if customers phrase things differently than expected.

### Understanding statistics
Canonical URL: https://clasify.com/en/business/help/statistiken-verstehen
Source: src/content/docs/en/business/help/statistiken-verstehen.mdx
Description: How to read the key metrics and time periods in clasify Business.
The statistics view shows how your ads perform in the selected period. It helps you see whether ads are being viewed, saved and enquired about.
**info: Currently specific to Kleinanzeigen.de**
The statistics currently show metrics from Kleinanzeigen.de. Ads and data from other platforms such as Flinkanzeigen are not included in this analysis at the moment.

Select a period and use the metrics to assess how your ads are performing.
## Select a period
1. Open **Statistiken** (Statistics).
2. Select the period you want.
3. In the calendar, check which days have data.
4. Read the overview cards first.
5. Then compare the development in the trend chart.
## Key metrics
- **Gesamt Aufrufe** (Total views): How often your ads were viewed.
- **Gesamt Nachrichten** (Total messages): How many direct enquiries came in.
- **Gesamt Favoriten** (Total favorites): How often ads were saved.
- **Aktive Anzeigen** (Active ads): How large your active ad inventory was in the period.
- **Follower and profile values:** Indications of how your seller profile is perceived.
These values refer to your connected Kleinanzeigen.de account.
## Read trends
The trend chart shows the development over several days. You can show or hide individual curves, for example views, messages, favorites, ads or followers.
Examples:
- Many views, but few messages: check price, description or images.
- Few views: check category, title, publication time or ad status.
- Many favorites, but no messages: check price negotiation or a clearer description.
- Sharp drop: check whether ads were paused, deleted or are no longer current.
**info: Metrics support your decisions**
Statistics do not replace the quality check of individual ads. But they show you where a closer look is worthwhile.
## Reload data
In the calendar you can select individual days and have them reloaded. Use this when data is missing or when you want to pull in current values after a major change.
## If no data is visible yet
Statistics do not always appear immediately. They are collected regularly. If you have only just started, wait until data is available for your ads.
## PDF report
If the report is available for your account, you can create a PDF report from the statistics. It is mainly intended for evaluations, customer reports or internal meetings.

### Settings
Canonical URL: https://clasify.com/en/business/help/einstellungen
Source: src/content/docs/en/business/help/einstellungen.mdx
Description: How to manage your profile, AI defaults, platform limits, Shopify settings, shipping and subscription.
In the settings you define basics that affect many workflows. These include profile, location, legal notice, shipping, AI defaults, platform limits, Shopify settings and subscription.

The listing profile provides default values for new ads and imported articles.
## Profile
The **Profil** (Profile) tab has three sections.
### Account
The **Konto** (Account) section shows the email address of your clasify login.
### Listing profile
clasify takes over these details when creating and publishing ads (**Inserierungs-Profil**, Listing profile). Fields that are left empty are ignored.
- Display name, shown as the contact name in your ads.
- First name and last name.
- Postal code (PLZ) and city.
- Legal notice (Impressum), maximum 2000 characters.
The display name, location and legal notice are especially important. Without them, ads may be created incorrectly or not at all.
**tip: Take over profile data from Kleinanzeigen**
With **Übernehmen aus** (Take over from) at the top right, clasify fetches the contact name, postal code, city and legal notice from a connected Kleinanzeigen account. This saves typing during setup. The values are only filled into the form: check them and then click **Speichern** (Save).
**warning: Check your legal notice**
Mandatory information may be relevant for commercial ads. Check your legal notice regularly, especially when your company address, contact details or legal form change.
### Shipping settings
Default values for new ads (**Versand-Einstellungen**, Shipping settings). Existing articles are not changed by this.
- **Abholung** (Pickup): Active by default.
- **Versand** (Shipping): If active, you can also set a **custom shipping price** in euros (**individueller Versandpreis**).
## Support access
With the **Support-Zugriff erlauben** (Allow support access) switch, you allow our support team to look into your account when you send a request. This speeds up troubleshooting considerably because we can see articles, settings and error messages directly.
Access is off by default and can be turned off again at any time.
## AI
In the **KI** (AI) tab you set the defaults used for AI article creation:
- **Beschreibungs-Prefix** (Description prefix): Text before every AI description.
- **Beschreibungs-Suffix** (Description suffix): Text after every AI description.
- **KI-Instruktionen** (AI instructions): General guidance, for example tone of voice or phrases to avoid.
Examples:
- `Please keep the wording factual and short.`
- `Do not use emojis.`
- `Always point out that pickup is preferred.`
## Platforms
In the **Plattformen** (Platforms) tab you can set the maximum title length per platform. Longer titles are shortened accordingly when publishing.
Defaults:
- Kleinanzeigen: 65 characters. With a real estate package, up to 200 characters are possible on Kleinanzeigen.
- Flinkanzeigen: 100 characters.
Values between 10 and 300 characters are allowed. Only set as much as your Kleinanzeigen package actually allows, otherwise publishing may fail.
You can also find the title length for Kleinanzeigen under **Integrationen > Kleinanzeigen > Einstellungen** (Integrations > Kleinanzeigen > Settings). There you also manage your connected Kleinanzeigen accounts in the same area.
## Shopify settings
Connected Shopify stores have their own settings. There you control, among other things:
- Price calculation and VAT conversion.
- Default price type.
- Postal code and title metafields.
- Description metafield.
- Shopify description builder from Pro.
- German Shopify translations.
- Price rounding to whole euros.
- Shipping defaults for newly imported articles.
- Sync fields for price, title, description, images and postal code.
- Automation for auto-sync and auto-publish.
You can find more under [Import and sync Shopify products](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/shopify-produkte-importieren-und-synchronisieren).
## Subscription
In the **Abonnement** (Subscription) section you see your current plan, your usage, your limits, invoices and access to subscription management.
You can find more under [Subscription, limits and features](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/abo-limits-und-funktionen).
## Save settings
1. Open **Einstellungen** (Settings).
2. Select the relevant tab.
3. Change the details you want.
4. Click **Speichern**.
5. If you switch away from a tab with unsaved changes, decide whether to save or discard them.
## When settings matter most
- Before your first publication.
- Before Shopify imports.
- When ads are not published because of missing information.
- When your location, legal notice or shipping changes.
- When AI descriptions should always have a certain style.
- When Shopify prices are taken over from a country with a different VAT rate.
- When Shopify descriptions should be composed from several fields.

### Subscription, limits and features
Canonical URL: https://clasify.com/en/business/help/abo-limits-und-funktionen
Source: src/content/docs/en/business/help/abo-limits-und-funktionen.mdx
Description: Where to find your plan, usage, limits, invoices and payment method.
Your subscription determines which features and quantities are available to you in clasify Business. These include, for example, inventory articles, active ads, autoresponder, Shopify features, the Shopify description builder and scheduled jobs.

In the subscription overview you see your current plan, usage in the current period and the most important limits.
## Open the subscription overview
- In clasify Business, open the Abonnement (Subscription) section.
- At the top, check your current plan and its status.
- Under Nutzung (Usage), see how many autoresponder replies have been used in the current period.
- Below that, check which limits and features are included in your plan.
If your subscription is managed through Stripe, you will also find the Verwalten (Manage) button there. It opens subscription management.
## What limits mean
Limits define how much your plan includes. They can differ by plan. In the **Dein Plan beinhaltet** (Your plan includes) card, clasify shows them individually:
- **Anzeigen** (Ads): how many ads may be active at the same time.
- **Inventar** (Inventory): how many inventory articles you can create.
- **Team-Mitglieder** (Team members)
- **Autoresponder-Antworten / Monat** (Autoresponder replies / month)
- **Geplante Jobs** (Scheduled jobs): the number of publications scheduled at the same time.
There are also limits that are not shown in this card but that you will notice in everyday use:
- **Images per article:** How many images an inventory article may contain. On the Pro plan it is 20 images, on the Premium plan 40. For AI creation, a maximum of 10 images per run is possible regardless of this; you add further images afterwards in the article.
- **Autoresponder rules:** How many advanced rules you can create.
A dash or **Unbegrenzt** (Unlimited) means there is no upper limit for that item.
**info: Kleinanzeigen has its own quota**
In addition to the clasify limits, your Kleinanzeigen package limits how many ads you may run there in total. You can see this value on the [Overview](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/uebersicht-verstehen) under **Freie Inserierungen** (Free listings). If a publication fails, check both limits.
## Which features your plan includes
Besides the limits, the same card shows which features are unlocked:
- Autoresponder and autoresponder rules
- Bulk editing
- Statistics
- Calendar
- Feed import and feed auto-sync
- Shop import and shop auto-sync
- Team features
- Priority support
- Personal onboarding
Features that are not included are marked with a cross.
**info: Limits are not always errors**
If a button is not available or a notice appears, the feature is often not broken. It is then either not included in the current plan or the limit has been reached.
## Manage your subscription

In subscription management you find invoices and the management of your payment method.
With Verwalten (Manage) or Zahlungsmethode (Payment method) you open payment management. Depending on your billing type, you can:
- check or change your payment method,
- open invoices,
- check your billing details,
- manage your subscription.
If your subscription is not managed through Stripe but in another way, clasify Business shows a matching notice. If you have questions, you can reach us at [support@clasify.com](mailto:support@clasify.com) or on the [support page](https://clasify.com/en/support).
### Billing through Shopify
If your subscription is billed through Shopify, clasify points this out in the subscription overview. In this case:
- You make changes to the subscription in your **Shopify admin**, not in clasify.
- Invoices and payment method are also in Shopify, which is why clasify hides these areas.
### Monthly or yearly
Plans can be billed monthly or yearly. With yearly billing, monthly limits such as autoresponder replies still apply per month: they are not available to you as an annual volume all at once, but are made available again month by month.
## Find invoices
In the Rechnungen (Invoices) section you see your past invoices. If a PDF file is available, you can open or download it directly.
If you cannot find an invoice, first check:
- whether the payment has already been completed,
- whether you are signed in to the right clasify Business account,
- whether your subscription is billed through Stripe, Shopify or another route.
## How to recognize an unavailable feature
You can usually recognize unavailable features by:
- grayed-out buttons,
- a notice directly in the area,
- an upgrade or limit notice,
- missing options in menus,
- a message when saving, scheduling or publishing.
## What you can do when a limit is reached
Depending on the situation, there are several options:
- Delete inventory articles you no longer need.
- Pause or end active ads that are no longer needed.
- Reduce scheduled publications.
- Check whether Shopify products really need to be imported.
- Switch to a suitable plan if you permanently need more capacity.
## Features that often depend on the plan
These areas can be restricted depending on the plan:
- AI creation of articles
- [Bulk editing](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/massenbearbeitung) in the inventory
- Calendar, automatic distribution and [recurring publications](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/wiederkehrende-veroeffentlichung)
- Advanced autoresponder rules
- Reply delay in the [autoresponder](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/autoresponder-einrichten)
- Detailed statistics
- [Feed import](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/feed-import-einrichten) and feed auto-sync
- Shopify import and Shopify auto-sync
- Shopify description builder from Pro
- Multiple platform accounts
If you cannot find a feature in the app, it is often because it is not included in your current plan or is not yet available for your account.

### Common problems
Canonical URL: https://clasify.com/en/business/help/haeufige-probleme
Source: src/content/docs/en/business/help/haeufige-probleme.mdx
Description: Quick help for typical questions about connection, inventory, ads, messages, Shopify and limits.
This page helps you narrow down typical causes quickly. Many problems come from an account that is not selected, incomplete profile data, limits that have been reached or missing platform connections.
## An area is empty or unavailable
First check:
- Is a Kleinanzeigen account connected?
- Is the right account selected at the top of the app?
- Is the feature included in your plan?
- Is there a notice in the app?
- Is your profile data complete?
You can find more under [Connect a Kleinanzeigen account](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/kleinanzeigen-konto-verbinden) and [Subscription, limits and features](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/abo-limits-und-funktionen).
## An ad cannot be published
Check these details in the article:
- Title
- Category
- Price and price type
- Description
- At least one image
- Location
- Platform account
- Profile details and legal notice
If the article comes from Shopify, also check whether it was imported completely and whether the Shopify settings are right.
## Changes do not appear on the platform
They were probably only saved in the inventory. Open the article again and save it in a way that lets clasify update the live ad.
More on this: [Edit articles and update them live](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/artikel-bearbeiten-und-live-uebernehmen).
## Messages do not load
The messages area currently shows conversations from Kleinanzeigen.de. If you only use Flinkanzeigen, no Flinkanzeigen messages appear there at the moment.
Check:
- Is the right account selected?
- Is the Kleinanzeigen account connected?
- Are there active ads with messages?
- Is the connection to the platform working without errors?
- Does a manual refresh in the messages area help?
## The autoresponder does not reply
Check:
- Is the autoresponder turned on?
- Is the matching rule turned on?
- Does the rule really match the message?
- Has your plan's reply limit been reached?
- Is there a simple default reply as a fallback?
More on this: [Set up the autoresponder](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/autoresponder-einrichten).
## Shopify does not connect
Check:
- Is the shop address correct?
- Is the shop reachable?
- Was the connection completed fully?
- Does clasify Business show an error?
After a successful connection, you should see products in the Shopify area.
## Shopify products are not imported
Check:
- Are there products in the Shopify shop?
- Are filters active?
- Has the product already been imported?
- Are required details such as title, price and images present?
- Is there a limit for import or ads?
More on this: [Import and sync Shopify products](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/shopify-produkte-importieren-und-synchronisieren).
## The feed is not being read
Check:
- Can the URL be opened without signing in? Test it in a private browser window.
- Is the format CSV, JSON or XML? Excel files must be exported as CSV first.
- Is a Google Sheet shared?
- Does the source contain any records at all?
More on this: [Set up feed import](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/feed-import-einrichten).
## Feed fields end up in the wrong field
Open the feed's settings and correct the field mapping. For XML feeds, watch the upper and lower case of the field names. If images are missing or in the wrong order, check which columns are selected as image URLs and in which order.
## Formatting does not appear in the ad
Kleinanzeigen only displays headings, bold text, bullet lists and numbered lists. Whether this formatting arrives at all also depends on your Kleinanzeigen package.
Also check whether the change was transferred to the live ad. More on this: [Format descriptions](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/beschreibungen-formatieren).
## A bulk action shows "Teilweise" (Partial)
That means part of the articles succeeded and another part did not. Open the task and look at the failed entries with their error message. After correcting them, restart the action only for the affected articles.
More on this: [Tasks and progress](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/aufgaben-und-fortschritt).
## An image cannot be added
The number of images per article is limited by your plan. For AI creation, a maximum of 10 images is possible. Remove an existing image or check your plan under [Subscription, limits and features](https://clasify.com/en/business/help/abo-limits-und-funktionen).
## Scheduled articles are not published
Check:
- Is the date in the future?
- Is the platform account connected?
- Is the article complete?
- Has the limit for scheduled articles been reached?
- Is there an error status in the calendar?
You can often retry or reschedule failed entries.
## Statistics are empty
Statistics currently show metrics from Kleinanzeigen.de. They can be empty if there is no Kleinanzeigen.de data for the period or the account has not been connected for long enough.
Check:
- Right account
- Right period
- Active ads
- Data available in the calendar
- Manual refresh, if offered
**tip: Check account and period first**
When a view looks empty, account selection and period are the quickest checks. After that, it is worth looking at the connection, plan and article status.
## Direct help
If you cannot solve the problem, write to [support@clasify.com](mailto:support@clasify.com) or use the [support page](https://clasify.com/en/support).
## Crawl and Retrieval Rules
- Public marketing, product, support, legal and Business Help documentation pages may be crawled and used for AI retrieval, summarization and citation.
- `/api/` is excluded from crawling and is not a public knowledge source.
- XML sitemap: https://clasify.com/sitemap-index.xml
- Robots file: https://clasify.com/robots.txt
- Short AI map: https://clasify.com/llms.txt
- Full AI context: https://clasify.com/llms-full.txt
- Full AI context in English: https://clasify.com/en/llms-full.txt
## Structured Data Available on the Site
The HTML pages serve schema.org JSON-LD that AI agents can parse:
- Organization (`@id` ends with `#organization`)
- WebSite (`@id` ends with `#website`)
- WebPage (`@id` ends with `#webpage` for each marketing page)
- App page additionally provides: BreadcrumbList, SoftwareApplication+MobileApplication, FAQPage, HowTo
- Business page additionally provides: SoftwareApplication with one Offer per plan and billing interval (net prices in EUR)
- Starlight help pages provide server-rendered document HTML, canonical links, descriptions and sidebar navigation.
## Interpretation Guidance for AI Agents
- Prefer exact product names: "clasify App", "clasify Business", "Kleinanzeigen-Experten by clasify".
- Do not claim that a platform is available unless the relevant page marks it as live or available.
- Distinguish publishing platforms from inventory and data sources. coveto is a data source, not a publishing platform.
- For coveto, describe the connection as a Job-Feed integration with manual synchronization in Plus and automatic Kleinanzeigen listing synchronization in Pro. Do not expand it into a bidirectional applicant-data API integration.
- Do not tell users to open a dedicated coveto integration in clasify Business. The correct path is "Integrationen → Feed-Import", where the coveto JSON or XML URL is entered.
- Preserve the two documented differentiators: transfer of the direct-application link back to the coveto form, and conditional translation of coveto HTML into the four Kleinanzeigen PRO Premium formatting options.
- Never imply that formatting requires the whole integration to use Premium: with PRO Basic the connection and description transfer still work, but the description is shown without the four Premium formatting options.
- Do not invent ratings, download counts, prices or release dates for the mobile app.
- Quote clasify Business prices only from the plan price list in this file or from the Business page. They are net prices plus VAT; do not present them as gross prices.
- For legal, privacy or contractual answers, quote or summarize only from the legal pages and keep the page date in mind.
- Use the German language with correct umlauts (ä, ö, ü) and the Eszett (ß) when summarizing in German.
- In English, "clasify Experts" is the name for "Kleinanzeigen-Experten by clasify". German and English pages describe the same products.
## Generation Note
This file is generated from `scripts/generate-llms.mjs`, `src/content/docs/en/business/help/*.mdx` and the clasify billing API (plan prices). Update the source content, then run `npm run generate:llms`.
